Derek, Sorry for your loss. I can meet you at the 83/78 intersection or (Big Muskie parking lot). Is 10:15 about right? Google gives 1.44 Millersburg to 83/78. I can stay with the route to Glouster or McConnelsville depends on time. I will reconfirm on Friday, Brian

Fretting damage in steel can be identified by the presence of a pitted surface and fine 'red' iron oxide dust reminiscent of cocoa powder. Strictly this debris is not 'rust' as its production requires no water. The particles are much harder than the steel surfaces in contact, so abrasive wear is inevitable; however, particulates are not required to initiate fret. B.

Derek, Nice ride today. Thank for letting me tag along. The Pace and Roadcraft were all in order. I would be happy to help you with anything down here at the Logan rally point. I can also lead a group of 5 at todays pace. I know many of the connecting roads down here in case of route saturation. come down and ride anytime. Thanks again, Brian

Derek, I live just outside Logan off 93 (Till Road) I am getting ready to pick up a new 2013 Z1000(May-Jun) and will be switching over to this forum for Info. Personally I feel the Adventure stuff has run it's course. YMMV. I am old and comfortably fast/safe with 44Y road riding under my ever increasing girth. You mention riding this weekend down to Logan and doing a test loop for your upcoming ride. Would it be possible for me to tag along (sweep) your group. I can meet you at your rally point.
