I'm 250 nekid. I understand the klr is a little soft. Also know that thrashing offroad is not what I initially plan on doing. I got the KLR vs more powerful bikes because I literally just want to tractor around on it. Gravel roads, blm fire roads ect. I do not need a perfectly set up suspension till I feel I'm ready to take bigger leaps on it.
With what you have stated, I think that bike will meet your current needs plus you have great fire roads just south of you. Give a shout if you need a wing man, I have a shitload of routes below I-70. I have been spending a lot of time in East Ohio just south of Woodsfield, Love the gas/oil routes. I am planning a possible trip down to Talladega National Forest next week for two day's of adventure stuff, (72deg's) Stay Safe. B.

That’s a bummer. What about something on EBay?
Checked E-Bay $95.00 but...Only up to 2012. checked they don't match up.
I am going to try to pressure it up and try to find the leek, may have to peel back the flange then I can try to JBW it if I can see the sweet spot.
I'll just have to put a new one on my Christmas list just below the 2022 Black Honda Monkey.

Just finished a 200+ mile back road romp with the wife. Lunch at Theo's Restaurant in Cambridge. Droped down thru Senecaville lake and back west thru McConnelsville and home. V-Strom set up for Street Duties for awhile.

Scooters can be Bad Ass too.
In Germany in the 80s with a bunch of drunk Army guys, we laughed and sneered at a Gang riding Mopeds and Scooters, wearing leathers and chains.
Almost got our asses kicked when they came back and we found out they were like the local Hells Angels. 😁Wow, You brought back memories of the good old days for me. Yes, the Moped Gangs in Germany. There license system would only restrict 15YO's to under 50cc's and at 16YO to 125cc's. So they were all over the place. I was 24 YO on my second tour over there and had a Yamaha XS1100 cafed out and this gave me great respect with the Moped Gangs. The 80's I was stationed in Bad Kreuznach-8th. ID. Thanks for the memories.

Most likely going to replace it with a 17-18 Kawasaki Versys 1000lt or repurpose my V-Strom to a more street tour and pick up a Honda CFR300Rally to keep my dirty riding needs met.

No, My wife stopped by for dinner last night. I start riding a 8am sharp and slam the Frack roads and two tracks till 1 or 2 in the afternoon when it's 90+ outside. So a 6:30-7pm dinner departure is a it late for me. I might try the Marietta Brewing co. tonight or walk over to Applebee's fo wings and a burger tonight.
