  1. Biggest issue is no vacation first 12 months of employment...
  2. Any recommendations on where to look? Craigslist?
  3. Bikes needs to be a hobby not a profession for me. Going to a job with substantial pay increase, 4 days a week instead of 6, full benefits vs none, etc.
  4. This must be the time of the year. I am leaving my Marketing job at the end of the week. I was only there 13 months, I couldn't imagine leaving a company after 13 years.
  5. This is not helping my logical thinking that i don't need 3 bikes. I'm going to have to get myself something for the dirt...
  6. This was actually my thought process, purchase used for the first bike.
  7. So I've been looking at getting a bicycle in the spring. Went to a Trek store in Westerville. Got fitted, tried a few in the parking lot. I really like the Trek DS 4. Thoughts?
  8. Kind of an impulse buy but I picked up a M&P Shield tonight. I also own a Bodyguard 380 and a M&P40C so this Shield is a good mix between the two.
  9. Merry Christmas! I got a new tank bag and hip pads for the stich.
  10. Haha the lady at the liquor store said the same thing and almost took my driver's license away.
  11. It sounds bad but I dont care what the scale says anymore. I feeling I'm slimming down but the scale stays the same. I've noticed increase in arm size and chest, gut is shrinking.
  12. I lived off grilled chicken for the longest time 🤣
  13. Two years of progress. I having been eating out more than usual, but I still make time for workouts every week.
  14. Check out the Cove at Cooper Lake in Westerville. Pretty nice places. One bedroom goes for $680/Month

    Hey Tpoppa

The MT's fuel efficiency is gonna be a problem with this challenge If I'm running fast pace, I'm on low fuel at 85 miles...
  16. I've been at a company where a corporate takeover ran the company promptly in the ground. I got out just over a year ago. I found out a couple weeks ago, all my old coworkers are losing their jobs after Christmas. Sad for them, but I was relieved I got out when I did.

    Hey Tpoppa

What are these times ya'll speak of? I never seen a start/finish line in SEO
  18. Im still making some progress. Life has gotten really busy, so keeping a steady gym routine has kept my sanity. Kinda switching to more of a weight training routine and not as much cardio. Battled a knee pain that set me back as far as running goes.

    Sunday

Barely any salt has been thrown down in SEO. Roads are still pretty decent. I'll probably be out Sunday riding.
  20. Paid for my ticket from the fall gap trip. 😐
  21. So I started back into a meal prep plan this week (Chicken Fajita Rice Bowls) and have been weight training and running regularly. I can comfortably run 3 miles now. Weight training has progressed a lot and I am hitting personal bests on reps and weights. I started this week at 210, my goal is to be somewhere in the 195 range by spring. I am seeing more muscle tone, so the number on the scale hasn't dropped drastically.
  22. Took the FJR out for a ride yesterday. Rode twisties over to Seneca Rocks and spruce knob. It was chilly but nothing heating gear couldn't take care of. Just over 400 miles.
  23. 16 is a fun ride, 60 across the gorge is a blast. 36 to clay is a fun road.
  24. Well this went downhill quick... People are gonna bitch regardless of what date you pick. I'm good for any weekend right now.
  25. Just to be clear, I was most definitely not eyeballing that hideous monstrosity 🤣 I like my tank bag.
