Some more fun today. Rode Cherohala and the dragon before loading up and driving home.

We got them bargain tickets. 🤣

Unloaded at deals gap and scuffed in the new Q3 on the dragon. Traffic is light. Sitting at Delauders BBQ for lunch.

Wow, I guess I should pipe in. As you guys know, I'm against the whole trailering thing. Time constraints are the only reason I am doing it. I rode the MT to the gap, no problems what so ever. Not to brag, but I'd say I ride more miles than most in here....Just sayin. I remember a certain someone talked about having their whale, I mean bike, shipped for their west trip

My ticket last year was $135 I think. 69 in a 55. Training situation, holiday weekend. The insurance rate hike was alot more than the ticket.

The PR5 on the back on the MT is pretty much wore out. I figured since I'm trailering it to the gap in a few weeks, why not try one of these sticky tires everyone raves about. Got a Q3 to try.

Throttle by wire makes it incredibly easy now.

Got out for a short ride Sunday, met up with @Blitz and @Howabusa for a little while. The more I ride the MT, the more I fall in love with it. I just keep throwing it around more and more, it just keeps on delivering.

Its official. The Indian FTR1200 coming this spring. I cant wait to ride one.

OEM Bridgestone S20 lasted 1800 miles. The Michelin PR5 has 3600 on it. Probably good for a couple hundred more. Since I'm heading to the gap, I picked up a Q3 on sale.

Ordered a new rear tire for the MT. Seems like all I do is change tires...

I fought the HID crap in cars and bikes for years. Dealing with ballasts, flickering, and power issues. The auxbeam LEDs are awesome. Got them in the FJR and my Honda Accord.

@2talltim and I are planning on make a quick trip 20th-22nd. I cant get off work so gonna have to drive through the night on a Friday and head home Monday.

I think we all hit that slump, some more than others obviously. I have been trying different types of riding to keep the spark going. Did my first track day this year. Had a blast, but trailering 3 hours makes it tough for me. This time of year is tough usually too. End of the season, kinda getting burnt out of riding for the year. Maybe time to try a non Powersports hobby over the winter? I used to do a good bit of sim racing in the winter. Maybe by spring you'll have the itch to get back on the bike more.

Turns out my official time was 26:39. 1st place in 25-29 Male. 10th out of 66 runners.
