  1. That’s what I love about the bike I got, I’m in it for only $15k.
  2. The big difference for me is out of the box comfort. The FJR takes some accessories and custom seat to get real all day comfort. The wing is head and shoulders above the FJR on two-up riding, which was the main reason for buying it. I feel like I can wheel the wing just as quick as the FJR once I get some more miles logged.
  3. So after 54k miles and 40 states, I parted ways with my beloved FJR yesterday. I went an entire day without a motorcycle until I rode home my new 2018 Goldwing. Never in my dreams would I had thought a Goldwing be this much fun to ride, but I love it. Plus, I got the bike for a smokin deal so that helps too!
  4. SOLD Mods can you please lock it up.
  5. Yeah that is correct. Sorry about that. This bike has been meticulously maintained, I wouldn’t hesitate riding it across the country.
  6. I think it’s around 40 or so states 😂
  7. It definitely feels like I’m getting rid of a part of me.
  8. I didn’t think this was gonna ever happen, but it’s time for a new bike for me. It’s one amazing bike and I really want to see it go to a good home. 2014 FJR1300 original owner Terry’s Custom Seat, Givi Trunk, Pipewerx Exhaust, Touring Windshield, ASV Levers, bar risers, LED headlights & fog lights, traxxion dynamics fork springs, fork brace, canyon cages, givi tank bag, fuzeblock, highway pegs, pair delete, and admore lighting kit. I’m sure I’m missing some stuff. Bike has always been serviced and valves were just checked and within spec. I bought the bike new in 2014, never dropped or wrecked. $8500
  9. Money sent your way @2talltim. Hopefully we can get Dan a camera ASAP.
  10. This happened in Athens not to long ago. There's still some remains lol.
  11. This was me with the quickshifter on the MT but not the FJR.
  12. Dad's been talking about getting the tune for his...
  13. Yeah I’ve ran into this issue, found some great prices until I find out it’s a non tour they added a trunk to. Also no electronic suspension or reverse.
  14. Well I guess I’ll keep my lack of skill, wadded up less bikes that way.
  15. This! Yes people find what their bike can do or their abilities to maneuver bikes ON THE TRACK, but guess what the street has way too many variables to use most of those abilities. My MT was like super glued to the track and I could throttle the hell out of corner exit. Guess what, on the street, I was fighting traction, stepping out using throttle modulation. Same goes for braking. I had a blast on the track but it’s a total different animal, and I don’t consider myself better than others because of a track day.
  16. I didn’t know you couldn’t learn to be comfortable with handling your bike without taking it to the track.
  17. Jim we all know Rotella is a best 😂 not much to discuss.
  18. So what you’re saying is track guys don’t stoop down to street guy dangers. In my opinion, it’s a completely different skill set. Memorizing a track and getting every possible time gain is a skill, but running a good clip all day comfortably without riding over your head is also a great skill.
  19. Basic synopsis, track guys have more “knowledge & skill” but can‘t explain why some street guys have no problem running the same or faster pace than them on a group ride through twisties. Then the street guys explain the track is fun but not railing curvy roads all day fun. It’s a vicious circle.😂
  20. Haha yeah Tim tell me again where u get those 5 quart Rotella jugs.
  21. It must be winter...Sad part is some people are actually arguing about oil 😂
  22. A thread about a cruiser turns into MotoGP talk 🤣
  23. They were being distributed by Schuberth right?
