Waited 2 hours at registration to get told they overbooked and weren't allowing walk ins for Novice. Came home, put the bike back in street trim and got a nice ride in. Starting to wonder if trailering 3 hours each way is really worth it...
Yeah B-mac had the location right. The marathon in mcconnelsville. Theres a little rest area across the street. Wont be a very big loop, got stuff to do tomorrow afternoon before heading out of town.
Been slacking for the last month or so. Gained 4 pounds over the west trip. Hit the gym for the first time in awhile tonight. It felt good to get muscles working hard again, and a good burn in the lungs. Probably gonna regret it tomorrow. I told myself after the big trip, I am getting serious about eating clean again. Goal is to be under 200 comfortably.
Kinda surreal today. Nowhere to go, nowhere to be. Just hanging out at the house. Sat down and figured up cost of the trip. I used my debit card 86 times .
Grand total for hotels, food/drink, fuel, gifts, and a tire change: $2100
It is a bitter sweet day. Just over 600 miles from the house. It has been one hell of an adventure, but you can only eat so many hotel waffles before you're ready to go home.
690 mile day with a 2 hour tire change stop. Long day, but it got us within distance to get home. Got some brisket and ribs for dinner tonight, along with some tasty beverages. Final day tomorrow
