  1. Talk to the bank you wanna use, get prior approval for the amount you wanna spend. Private party sale is a little more leg work, but not bad. Dealerships have direct lines to several institutions, so it is a smoother process for the most part.
  2. After riding home from work, I got to take dad's new bike for a spin.
  3. Time for a paved mini course. I'm sure your neighbor doesn't mind.
  4. Rode the MT to work this morning. Let's just say I took the long way to work.
  5. Are these the new MotoGP spec rotors?
  6. Hmm, 350 sounds like 4-5 nights worth of hotels. Time to start planning some trips.
  7. Down to 210. Progress has been slow. I haven't been eating super clean, and I have been doing alot more weight training. I am seeing more muscle tone, even though the scale isn't changing much, so I still consider that progress. I would like to be at 200, so I need to get back to the correct meal prep. Got a new Air Fryer, so I got some new recipes to try.
  8. I ended up getting the Vortex stands. I got a discount through work, so both stands were less than one Pit Bull stand. I was impressed with the quality and while looking around at IMS, I noticed bikes on display using the Vortex stands. Overall, I'm happy with them so far.
  9. I don't think there's a bad choice between Connie, FJR, or VFR. Each has their advantages and disadvantages but they are all awesome bikes.
  10. Couldn't find my car keys so I rode the FJR to work.
  11. My best go to for used trailers has been Craigslist, using a site called SearchTempest to search all craigslists. My dad and I have bought and sold several over the last couple years. Don't be afraid to buy one that needs wheels/tires & bearings. Parts are super cheap for them on etrailer.com
  12. I got a Can-Am trailer sitting in my showroom. They may be pricey, but they are well built. Dart, Aspencade, Bushtec, & cyclemate all are quality trailers as well.
  13. I got to see this bike running when I was at Wheels Through Time. It was ahead of it's time, and the mystery of it is interesting.
  14. Exhaust is on. Now just waiting for the ECU.
  15. I don't have an ecu, so I don't know. Ecu is shipping out from the tuner tomorrow morning though. Link pipe is being delivered tomorrow.
  16. I haven't weighed everything yet, but I'd say it's probably 25 pounds.
  17. My idea of a great day trip is several hours of twisty roads, some good grub, and bringing it all home in one piece.
  18. Just decided to get everything ready for the exhaust and ecu to arrive.
  19. Removed the rear pegs on the MT10 and got some push pins to cover up the bolt holes.
  20. This wasn't mine, it was my dad's, but this is what I learnt how to ride. 1975 Concord Shadow moped
  21. Here is one of very few photos of my first bike.
  22. Still less trailer miles than someones "touring" bike
