From what I have read, they won't last long. Sport touring tires have plenty of grip for the street. I'll probably start running a 190/55 on the FJR so I don't have to keep 2 different sets of tires in the garage.
THIS. As much as everyone wants to stock the latest liter bike and all the "cool" bikes in their opinion, you gotta stock what sells. The area my dealer is in, mainly old guys wanting cruisers, atvs, and side by sides.
Yeah, the manufacturer or dealer can pick and choose what they want to carry. Of course they must agree upon it. Obviously a dealer in the desert doesn't carry watercraft or a Florida dealer snowmobiles.
Ok, so now that I am going into the uncharted area of not having a center standI want to get some bike stands. I really should have bought some earlier with the amount of tires I have been changing. So I figure Pit Bull is the gold standard of bike stands. They're not outrageous on their pricing, but I figured I would see if anyone recommends any alternatives.
Right now the goal is to get frame sliders, radiator guard, & fender eliminator. Probably going to do a decat and tune after that. Also looking at spools and stands. The 2018 model I'm getting comes with factory quickshifter.
Got super sick all day yesterday. Couldnt keep anything down. Lost 3 pounds, I guess that's a win
My new routine of doing weight training AND cardio in the same workout instead of either/or seems to be working better.
