  1. It's SEO, I'll find some decent days to ride. Gotta start ordering accessories
  2. It is still going to the dealer first to be assembled. Coming from a Yamaha warehouse rather than coming from another dealer's showroom. Dealer transfers are faster, but sometimes dealers don't like to transfer units, or try playing games with random fees.
  3. So, my local dealer was going to be dealer transferring the bike in from another dealer, but the other dealer wanted to play games and charge "transfer fees" which is a load of BS. I have seen dealers do this in the short amount of time I've worked at a dealership. So now I am getting the bike shipped straight from Yamaha, going to be here next week.
  4. I saw that. I have no clue on leather suit sizing, but I have plenty of time to figure that out.
  5. I will hopefully be searching for some bargain bin leathers this summer, so I can finally do a track day...
  6. I wonder if they'll match my Aerostich
  7. WE HAVE A WINNER! Sorry for the cruel joke to everyone thinking FZ, but Yamaha decided to rename them to MT in 2018.
  8. I mean, how much more can I give them? A 2018 Yamaha Naked bike.
  9. No, I did not buy a FZ....
  10. Got the matte 2018 color...
  11. You got the right brand...
  12. Negative, no Orange in my future
  13. I get to ride those for free, no need to buy one.
  14. For another guess the bike thread. I just put the deposit on my new bike. The FJR is NOT going anywhere by the way. I'm sure this won't last long since some of you already know.
  15. I had the great pleasure to meet Jerry when he joined us on the Ozark trip. Great man, he will be missed dearly.
  16. @Blitz runs some sort of aftermarket ear plug speaker. Maybe he will chime in.
  17. +1 on this, on 2016 Fall Gap Trip, the group left out of Parkersburg, WV and we had fun twisty roads all day.
  18. I've slabbed it down, I've taken twisty roads. I've done it in 6 hours, I've done it in 7 days. Regardless, it's a fun time and everyone should do it, regardless of how they get there.
  19. Chest is always what gets me. I never get too sore on arms, back or legs.
  20. I thought that's how you know it was a good workout
  21. +1, plus you don't have to waste valuable storage on liners.
  22. The key factors for riding any type of long distance IMO is avoiding dehydration, and recognizing fatigue. Us folks on touring bikes are spoiled and can run 200 mile twisty road stints all day, but doing so on a supersport is different story. You ride enough before June and you'll be ready. I sure would like to try the gap on a different bike this year...
