  1. It was a BMW so stereotype confirmed
  2. Good thing you saved it. Getting used to a new bike is difficult IMO. Getting the tires scrubbed in well and working your way to your fast pace gradually should help.
  3. Oh I didn't see it takes watch batteries. I assumed it used the same style battery at the handlebar remote.
  4. My 10U remote goes months without charging. Sounds like you got a bad battery.
  5. Yeah that section floods all the time. Good road though when it's dry.
  6. Went for a short ride through some awesome SEO roads with @thompsonian. Now it's time to pull the front tire off my bike.
  7. Anyone here part of the group of bikes stopped on the side of the road on 377 by Sharpsburg today? I stopped to see they needed anything. One of the bikes was having electrical issues. Just wanted to see if they made it home okay.
  8. I've got a Rev'it jacket, Tourmaster pants, Klim base layers, and held gloves. I am not brand loyal (Except Helmets. Shoei for Life ) Pretty much any big name brand has something in the category you're looking for. @RidersDiscount can hook you up with some awesome deals btw. Might wanna give them a call or IM.
  9. A Friday at work that's not busy and my boss is on vacation. Motivation has hit an all time low...
  10. The number of TV vs internet sales shows this too. Each year, more people are paying for the higher tier internet and dropping their television subscriptions to lower tier or completely. This is why my job at the cable company has transitioned from video commercials to digital advertising. People want mobility.
  11. The internet is full of time wasting things, but it can be a powerful and useful tool. I always tell people, if you have the desire to learn something, most likely there is something on the internet to teach you about it. This is coming from a self taught graphic designer and video encoder.
  12. I work for a cable company, but i sure do like my Kodi setup.
  13. Yeah, we can't forget the white whale. It surprises me every time I ride behind it.
  14. Well shit, I've always said I was an average rider.
  15. This is exactly why I would like to find a lightweight dual sport. Easy to throw around and I wouldn't dread picking it up when it throws me off.
  16. Something like this?
  17. I wouldn't know what to do with a light bike. I've been riding heavy pig bikes for awhile. (Sportster 1200, K1200RS, FJR)
  18. At the end of the day, the weight is merely a number. It's how well the bike hides it's weight that matters.
  19. Yamaha Bolt, Wet Weight: 542 lbs. Maybe it's a cruiser thing
  20. They're not alone... http://www.autoblog.com/2015/03/30/bmw-motorcycle-recall/ http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/recall/bmw-r1200rt-suspension-fiasco-conclude-month/
  21. I'm glad I don't drink coffee. I'm already running late almost every morning anyways. I wouldn't have time to do all this stuff. I like my morning drink: protein scoop, ice, water, shake. Done.
  22. Good luck finding a YZR-M1. Not too many local dealers have a MotoGP bike for sale.
