    I'm in the same boat. Makes me nervous. I bought one of those little Bulldog lockable cases that you anchor around something solid with a cable. It's not great but I don't have any lockable compartments in either of my beaters. If the car gets jacked then I'm just plain SOL. I drive old beaters so I'm guessing that there are more attractive options in the parking lot unless somebody is looking for parts.

    Ugh. Even though I enjoy the bikes and people watching mixed in with the occasional fist fight, I think that I'll just go walk around IP today and save the tank of gas (Chevy Tahoe ) + admission fees. Jim's feedback helped me decide with his semi-positive review of the event. In Tonik speak what he really said was "It kinda sucked but I don't want to admit that I wasted $25 to see this shit show".

    I did somewhere in between motoman and the manual. I'm guessing that most of us don't keep the bikes long enough for it to make a difference. I know that there are a few exceptions here who have high mileage bikes.

    Do it!! I was there yesterday before my ride. I was trying to convince myself that the $100 gift card in my pocket was a reasonable down payment for that new bright red Vmax on the showroom floor. I don't know why I am so infatuated with the Vmax. It's a big heavy pig that goes like hell in a straight line.

    I'm just cranky because I have a dirty bike in the garage that needs to be cleaned up. I did enjoy riding yesterday, though.

    That place is so overcrowded that walking down the sidewalk was a fucking adventure. A person in front of me stopped and I started getting pushed from behind by the herd. Nice place to visit once....other than that fuck it. I'd rather spend time in Chiraq and that isn't saying much. I grew up just outside of Chicago so it's not like I am spooked by populated areas.

    I like this idea but it seems that my data service is shit when I get away from the metro area. I'm not sure how well this will work in the real world.

    No license yet. She was supposed to take the class last year but never signed up. I'm in no hurry until she puts in the effort......Unless it's a Vmax then I'll ride it until she is ready.

    I didn't realize that bike was such a pig since it's a 650. I just looked up the specs and it has a whopping 31hp.
