You can borrow my GSXS while I am out of town next week. Real world practice is the way to go.. I'll leave my garage unlocked. Just lock it up after you are finished. Can you feed the fish while you are there?
I took about two minutes to verify that the USB cable was the issue with my phone charging setup. Once I swapped out the cable I spent the rest of the day working like a Hebrew slave child out in the yard.
This is no bullshit. I am guilty of this on random things. Right now it's a replacement 9mm CCW gun. I probably could have bought something with the cash that I have spent visiting the local retailers. Make myself crazy over $50. On the other hand it does keep me occupied and out of trouble for the most part.
I'm tempted to switch every so often. I don't care so much about staying connected but if there were ever an emergency or breakdown I'd like to be able to call for assistance. I also like to check in with my son when I'm out all day but that can be a challenge with Sprint at times.
I am fairly certain that if given the chance to ride the FZ-07 before signing my name I would have sprung for the FZ-09 instead. I got one heck of a deal at the beginning of December so it was a bit of an impulse/pissed at my wife purchase. Demo rides are a good thing if you can make it happen. When I bought my GSXS the dealer let me take a quick spin. PM me if you want the dealer name. I don't want to pimp them since they aren't a sponsor.
Cleaned my chain with some WD-40. Apparently, I did a shit job the last time I lubed up the chain. There was a bunch of corrosion. It did come off without a whole lot of effort. I'll have to be more thorough with the chain wax.
Sorry. Nothing personal but your post reads like a Nigerian scam email.
The narrative that floats through my head goes something like this:
Rent bike using fake ID
Beat shit out of said bike
Wreck bike in multi-vehicle pileup with personal injury
Skip country
Profit
Out $$$$ for bike plus remainder of loan
Sued for 500% of what I will make in my lifetime by grieving accident victim.
Insurance company wants their pound of flesh
Career effectively trashed because a credit check is almost mandatory for any job in my career path.
Renter sues me for what isn't left over due to lack of an expertly crafted rental contract.
I guess that I'm just not the trusting type. That might explain why I chose the career path that I did. The concept of AirBNB freaks me out too.
You know that you are getting old when a 2 day conference wears you out. I sat in on Dave Kennedy's talk. Even though @Tonik is an asshat of hate he should be proud of his boy. He must take after his mother.
