Wow. That's crazy! No corn near my bike. I did pull the battery and put it on the trickle charger in the basement. Looks like winter may be here to stay, so I'll just let it sit. But if we do get decent riding weather, I can have it ready in a few minutes. Thanks for the advice everyone!

Wife and I have a checking account, and a savings account. Both our pay checks get deposited together.

That's usually how I look at it too... Plus I like checking out the new bikes I can't afford.

It got up to temp today, gauge was at 175+ It's spotless as far as clean, has Stabil in the tank, plug in the exhaust (critters)

Hello everyone. Sorry I havent posted in a while... Have a couple of questions about putting my bike up for the winter. Bike I had last year, I pulled the battery, put it on stands, let air out of the tires, ect. Bike I have now, I'm just going to leave it "ready to ride"...It fired right up today, just going to start it and let it run for awhile, once every week or two. Will that be OK? My garage is attached, but not heated, but it never gets really cold in there. Any advise appreciated... Thanks!

Yeah I rode to work yesterday, then went for a little jaunt after. Hopefully I can get the pre-Christmas stuff I have to do out of the way early... Supposed to be 60 again today! Looking like the bike won't get put up for storage at all this year.

Not sure if this relates, but a "mom and pop" store opened up the road recently. (Bunker Hill, for you folks around Ashtabula) Guy that owns it doesn't have a Sunday beer license, he won't even open the doors. When I was talking to him about it, he said almost all of his profit comes from beer. Anyway, QSL in Sharon was fun, chain got "too big for it's britches" the one in Mentor is eh...
