Bought a new mouse. The wheel axle had a burr catching and would squeal after a few spins. Opened it up lubed it and bent the Price is Right clicker out. Smoothest mouse wheel ever.

Gold Thursday- Ordered an Ohlins. Bought a 2 liter bigger plastic tank as a replacement for mine that's ethanol expanded and hits the triples/head bearing seal. Was waiting for a metal one but couldn't pass up the price.

Devil's advocate, the used FS market is more flooded. Suspension is great on roots,rocks and ruts as well. I've been riding 20 years Had a$3500 bike in y2k dollars and paid $600 for my current giant anthem.

"all settings" went fubar. no response on action center and from start menu flashes open then disappears. killing windows explorer process resolved it.

Were you giving it pedal when trying to start it. maybe flooded and why ether didn't catch?

Different helmets(+shell sizes) can act different off different bikes' windscreens. A touring screen(laminar lip, double bubble) might be a cheaper experiment? Run without the screen to see if it changes any? Then get any helmet you want.
