  1. Yep.... I would toss the Flowmaster cat-back and do a few other things before cams.
  2. How does it make you feel knowing his 4.6 makes more power than your stock 5.0.... What next build quality...? How does it make you feel knowing that his Mustang doesn't have a rattle option and GM comes with that from the factory.... j/k
  3. I've heard probably 20-cammed 2-valves and have 2-friends that are currently running them. The car will have a bit more than factory but will NEVER sound like he wants without going to long tubes or another crazy exhaust setup and even then it probably won't be streetlegal... Cammed 2-valve Big Motor Cam The mod motor doesn't have the displacement for that deep sound. If that's want he wants great but it will never sound like an old Muscle car without going to a near race car setup.... Not to mention it's NOT worth the money unless he is going with a blower/turbo and ported heads. Why not just put a 100-shot on it until he wants to make some real power and build the motor....

  5. Maybe I should have been more CLEAR on Sportbike. However, a Ninja 250 still isn't considered a motorcycle really but more like a MOPED....

  7. The difference is that other manufactors stand by the warranty. BUELL does NOT after you have been back for the same problem more than once. Several people have gone through this. Search the BUELL boards for the nightmares...
  8. I hate to burst your bubble but those times are CORRECTED to sea-level. Not to mention that Ricky Gadson was the rider when it pulled those times. You are talking closer to high 10's/low 11's off the factory floor. Still not bad for a 636cc (not 599cc) bike like the other 600's... You are still looking at almost .5 seconds difference with equal riders on both which is BIG in drag racing... You guys are forgetting DRY WEIGHT on a bike means NO oil, gas, battery, etc.... So YES it will add another 40lbs. with all that stuff. I have not seen one factory street legal bike UNDER 400lbs. in running/riding condition.

  10. I've never seen or heard of a E65 unless it was one of the tuner brands. They don't make an E65 AMG from the factory. The 65 is the V12 bi-turbo engine but it's not available in the E-chassis currently from MB. At least not yet... (507HP N/A) They don't make a E65 unless you are talking about a S65 or SL65 which is the Bi-Turbo 604HP/738TQ.... Not many of the AMG's are supercharged anymore. The last couple generation big cars had the blowers but only the SL55 and GL55 come with them now. The only other way to get them like that is the specialty built Benz's like Brabus, Kleeman, Renntech, etc....

  13. The prices are coming down on the GT500's. They can be had for around $2k ADM now and once the 08's start production, that will drop to zero....

  15. There is more to a car than the ET. If you were a real enthusiest, you would see that the trap speed shows that the power is there. Just because it doesn't have slicks and a powerglide doesn't mean it still won't run. :jerkit: Not everyone is into 1/4-mile and low ET. Try roll racing, 1-mile events, auto-x, roadcourse, etc.... Some want a car that can do ALL of them well and still be daily driven if they want to.... :thumbup: P.S....I guess 7's on the factory IRS isn't interesting....

  19. With those kinds of dogs, I've heard of people putting up a puppy bell by the door. Every time you take him out, ding the bell. It's just like the door handle thing. Once he realizes you ring it when you take him out ONLY, he'll start to ring it when HE needs to go. Otherwise you need to beat his ass a few times......
  20. Did he buy the car local or did he get it from Woodhouse or one of the other well known Viper dealers....? Can't beat a 600rwhp car with a 3-year/36k-mile WARRANTY.....
  21. That's like saying all Vette's are slow. It all depends on the driver just like anything else. They have gone 11's stock and low 12's are the norm. Once you toss the run-crap tires they are 11-second cars ALL DAY.....
  22. Ya.....Dodge doesn't have a factory Supercharged Viper.... Woodhouse and a few others will dealer install them but that's about as close as it gets....
