  1. At least screw with him for a while and make him think about giving up on the scams (for a split second). Get him to send it overnight or something so he is out of pocket a few bucks.... Tell him it's a really good deal and you'll throw in some naked pics of his sister or Mom as part of the deal....

  3. I would look outside of 500-miles. You can get a 1-way plane ticket for $200 bucks to any of the big cities and drive it back. Not a big deal at all....

  7. I believe one of the rules is NO-GPS and you have to start the leg with the map THEY give you. You can stop for more but can't start with it.... It's not a great show but one of the better car related ones out there.... Look at DRIVE for instance....
  8. The only problem I've seen is stupid used car dealers want to charge the same price for a 2-year old one that you can get a brand new one from the factory for....
  9. If I were you, I would go buy a GOOD JELL seat and ride with that for a while. That will probably fix your problem except the good seats are around $100-150...
  10. What is your build...? I am 6' 2" & 195lbs and can ride for a couple hours on a BUSA without feeling sore. The biggest issue is the stock seat. Put on a jell seat and I could ride ALL day long without any problems. I recommend the Honda VFR also if you are okay with that style. That's a great bike that will do everything VERY well for the price....
  11. It better be a 599 or I'd find a different tuner/dyno very quick.... j/k It's not that bad. They are both pretty close, the 636 will only have about 5-6 more peak power/torque....
  12. Yep......what MPH did he run? That will tell you how clean of a shifter he is but I'm guessing he didn't do clutch (lever) less shifts based off his 60'....
  13. Yep.... Only Cobra made in 2000 was the R-model. After taking them a while to fix the '99 fiasco, they barely got the '01's out when they decided to not make a '02 model in the US and focus on the early release 2003's.... If a Mach 1 is out of your price range, I would look at a 97/98 Cobra for the money.
  14. It only needs around 850rwhp to beat a stock BUSA so I think he's got them covered.... He needs to run a TURBO-BUSA to get a more accurate test....
  15. The info won't be released until Jun but rumors are everywhere. I've heard anywhere from 1330cc-1500cc but 200hp seems to be the concensus. Suzuki promised to rewrite the rules with the new BUSA just like they did back in '99 with the original.....
  16. WTF are you talking about....? I don't know you so I simply asked a question, then stated the FACTS and was trying NOT to blow you smoke. So if you want the book answer, YOU WILL NOT run anywhere close to the Sportrider times of 9.99 with a slip-on. Not to mention the Sportrider times were corrected and the bike was slammed to the ground with a pro-rider.... Since you have been to the track 20-25 times with a bike you should be in the 10's with it. My guess would be 10.50's if you can pull a 1.7 60'. Otherwise high 10's at stock height with a slip on..... I wasn't assuming anything about you but you can't post up about times and get an educated guess without knowing experience level. Post up some of the times you have run on other bikes and I'll give you a more accurate guess with the ZX9.... However, at your elevation you may barely get in the 11's.... Again, who and WTF are you talking about....?

  18. Have you ever been to the track before...? If not, I would be shocked if you even broke into the low-11's on your first couple of visits. Bikes are no joke to ride at the track even though everyone seems to think they are sooooo easy to go fast on....
  19. I would go with a 96-01 Cobra or 03/04 Mach 1 if you want to run with or ahead of an LS1 stock or close to it. Otherwise it will take about $2k in mods on a 99-04 2-valve and even then it's a drivers race and always will be. The problem is that it's cheaper to get more (rwhp) out of a LS1 over any of the others as far as bolt-on mods....
  20. I wish... Closer to $10k for just the factory hood and another couple thousand for the front bumper and labor/paint, etc... His insurance co is going to be pissed when they get the $13k+ quote. I would def try and get an aftermarket Carbon Fiber while you are having to fix it....
  21. If you want something that does it ALL and your wife plans to ride with you a lot, I would say BUSA or 14. It will be a night and day difference for her comfort wise on one of those over a Liter bike. I would wait and see what the '08 BUSA has unless you have to have a new bike this summer....
  22. I wouldn't waste any time or money on the 5.7... The 6.1 in the SRT8's is the only one that makes any power....
