They are very similar but the M4 has made more I think 380-425whp and similar torque.. But remember to us that have owned and raced fast vehicles it doesn't seem like much. To an average person that hasn't, they may as well be driving a rocket ship if they don't know basic car control. Comparing it to cars from just 10-15+ years ago. That new M4 would be one of the fastest at that point for a stock vehicle. Now it's just meh...a daily driver... :lolguy: Point is, cars are getting a LOT faster and average drivers are only getting WORSE. Technology and nanny driver aids don't teach regular Joe or help them IMO..

BINGO! There is very little danger for anyone when done legally... Pretty much agree with everything you posted... :fuckyeah:

Before you guys hash out any more BS, maybe you should go read the rules of lane splitting. If people actually did it the proper whay it's 100% SAFER but I have a feeling most on here think "60mph between traffic is lane splitting" which is not the intent or purpose of lane splitting... http://lanesplittingislegal.com/resources-links http://lanesplittingislegal.com/assets/studies-surveys/OTS-California-Lane-Splitting-Habits-Survey-2014.pdf

Why are people against this? They did a study on it and proved it was safer...

I'm just sitting here wondering "How the heck can you guys NOT wrap shit?".. My Mom showed me when I was like 10 and haven't had a problem since... :fuckyeah:

Agree! I hated the show when it first came on with all the BS! Now I actually don't mind watching it but again so much BS.. I can't really get into it because I don't classify anything they are racing as a "STREET" car. Otherwise, like the US TOP GEAR, I watch it because it's automotive related and not much else better on..

Titans just got a little more interesting to me

I hope he enjoys it and doesn't have any issues. Most of the problems have been ironed out over the years as it's near the end of it's platform run. Like any manufacturer with a new design, those issues may start over with the new truck. -

Because everyone I know that owns one or owned one has/had a LOT of issues with it. http://www.consumeraffairs.com/automotive/nissan_titan.html No, I would say they have TERRIBLE resale value! My brother purchased a dealer demo leftover with 1,200 miles for $25k. Invoice was just over $40k and MSRP was $44k. They sell about 22k trucks a year and I think they are one of the worst for depreciation. As far as full-size trucks it would be at the bottom of the list for me. -
I thought that about the pics before hand but once looking at it in person and using the buttons/features it's much better than I thought and even the competition IMO. If GM offers a crazy rebate I still like the new Silverado/Sierra with the 6.2 and 8-speed. If they don't reduce them I feel the Ford has some better gadgets and options for the price. They are good looking trucks, can't really go wrong with either!

I hope you can fit parts in your Z06, otherwise hope everything goes smooth for your future brother in law...

I do like the thought of the Cummins diesel but my brother has a current one and I wouldn't recommend a Titan to anyone.. -
Do you mean between events or what? We went at our own pace and typically got some roll-on races in waiting for others..lol. You can stay in a big group if you want, or go with your friends (own group) or go alone at whatever speed you want. Once you start getting close to the next stop then you'll see signs or the line for the special area parking at each stop. Some cars can't take the 5mph cruising or line waiting. You'll see a lot broken on the side of the road or having issues the entire time. Make sure whatever you are taking is reliable and not a new build first time out..
-
I did the entire tour in 2003 and had a great time! You can do pretty much whatever you want along the way, you don't have to stay with the group. Any other questions just ask!

I love the car and think it'll be great!

If you shop they can be bought for under $100k. Tony paid $101k for his. Base cars are now $85k MSRP and bought for less.. Actually they raced 10 times and the Viper missed shifts on 3 runs and the Z06 missed none. They are both pretty equal drivers and the Viper just flat out pulled it and in 4th gear it got worse. This is incorrect! With the tire diameter the cars are geared virtually indentical and they shift within a couple hundred RPM of each other. Correct! This is Tony's old Viper racing a ZR1 that he traded for the TA..cars are neck and neck.. If you are really bored, some good reading.... http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c7-z06-discussion/3573568-the-dust-has-settled-viper-ta-vs-c7-z06.html

Tony is a very good guy and doesn't BS.. How do you figure?

Seems this has started quite a stir in the Viper/Vette world after some local guys raced... Thoughts?

Exactly! The GT500 '13-14 MSRP was $54k! Performance pack was $3,500, Track Pack was $3,000 and RECARO's $1,600. Pretty much loaded it stickered for $65k and shopping around Invoice was $60k. No chance this will cost more than a GT500! It wasn't sold out, just all orders were accounted for via dealers! Then they decided to build more than they initially said adding multiple model years now...

Mustang GT350 vs. Cadillac ATS-V vs. Camaro Z/28 vs. Hellcat
Got-Boost? replied to zeitgeist57's topic in Passing Lane
NONE of them! Honestly, nothing on that list worth $70k IMO... ...if we are talking $50k then the GT350 takes it! -
It may be just over $50k but I don't think much over... A fully optioned GT with everything this car would have has a MSRP of $43,600. Even comparing the old GT500 prices, it might push it in the mid-$50k's based on content but not much more. I disagree....NO WAY will this car push $70k's+! It's a complete failure and waste if they even think about that kind of asking price because as you said...MUCH BETTER OPTIONS for that price. +1 Agree... Other than diff, trans coolers, etc. on performance pack and the tech package (Tech Pack brings power seat adjustment and leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, upgraded Shaker audio, and the eight-inch MyFord Touch infotainment screen.) Not really room for an MSRP much higher...

Sounds SICK!!!
