What truck, options, etc. are you looking for? How far are you looking to travel? Plenty in Houston for $500-2,500 below invoice and 0% for 60mo down here. Not sure what local Ohio dealers are doing... USAA member get 0.59% for 36mo and PenFed is 0.49% for 36mo...1.49% for up to 60mo.

I'm looking forward to seeing one with the UGR-TT works... :fuckyeah:

I'm thinking $89k base and $110k+ with all the goodies, probably $120k+ for a loaded Vert...
-
Maybe with slicks but I'd guess closer to an 11.58...but sure would be cool if it were a 10.xx something..

I actually LOVE this car and everything about it but the weight. If they seriously dropped 600-800lbs from this thing it would be even more silly. I'm sure it will still be quick for what it is but you can count on it running $60k+ when all is said and done...

It's like any other company, business, or field...they are always hiring the HIGH DEMAND and much needed jobs. They are not taking the guys that barely got through high school and barely passed the ASVAB... You've got to educate yourself and adapt to the market/jobs, unless you are starting your own business then you've got to take what you can find if you don't have any education, training, skills, etc...

If you can't afford to go to college then find someone to pay the bill for you! Screw student loans and all the BS that goes with them. I know people that had over $800k in student loans and I honestly don't know how they slept at night. If your field/degree isn't going to make you enough salary a year to benefit a return of the student loan debt then you are wasting your time IMO. It's not worth going $60-100k in debt if you are only going to make $40k a year. Too many people were sold the college dream and basket weaving degree that now can't find work and sit on a hefty loan payment.

My guess is more to that car then they are saying. Wrong wheels, damage history, had it since Nov, etc... Unless they knock off another $10k for where it should be priced I would walk away and even then it would be hard to buy at that price knowing those things...

I think his car was but I don't think he was.

DAY 2 HIGHLIGHTS! Honestly, you guys just need to move down and see this stuff every weekend. Problem is these events bring out even more idiots than usual and they create all the problems you are seeing. If you have one of the faster cars and know who and were to be you won't have to worry about 99% of the BS.
-
Looks like he actually launched fine but for some reason it nosed over on the big end. It should have been the opposite of what happened unless the bike has a 4lb spring and base kit....
-
Well, this is one way to start my weekend...

I'd start taking parts off now and start looking for another or maybe a C6 Z06 while the time is right... -
You are 100% correct but if something does happen the odds are MUCH higher on one of those carriers. If you saw the stuff I see daily from some of these foreign airlines, trust me, you would question which overseas carriers you use...

+1 It's hard to really tell how freaking quick these cars are in video. Unless you are standing track side it's pretty hard to judge... :fuckyeah: Remember they have 1,500' of accel and 800' for breaking. The banking is designed so you can enter at 100mph and hold the wheel straight and the banking keeps you on course. As scary as you'd think it would be, most said it's really not bad after the first or second time when you know what to expect....
-
I don't think people really understand how bad it is flying outside of the US and especially over some of these countries let alone oceans. They don't have the FAA or a government funded and run tracking system, most of these countries operate on NON-RADAR rules and of those countries most don't even understand the rules. Even if they knew exactly where the plane was it could take weeks to get to and do anything. Forget that they don't even know where it is. Think about this next time you fly on China Air, Saudi, Turkish, TAM, Air India, etc...they don't have the flight hours, maintenance, etc...that US airlines follow.

Don't forget Nick's car isn't even a 2R... The big dogs aren't putting everything out for people to see... The speedway offers a longer course to race, better line up and shutdown points AND less down time. Going back to the airstrip would be silly from all aspects... You need to see the track side videos to get a better perspective of the speed. It's just not the same from in car footage.... The higher quality videos will be out soon but this will give you a little teaser...

The UGR Aventador's better come at another level, otherwise I think it's going to be really close this year with a few new players.... Testing with the 16 version...
