If he planned on trackdays, I could see it otherwise MOST won't like them... http://www.ridelust.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/ViperACR.jpg I like the FE personally... http://www.bjmotors.biz/images/inventory/2010DodgeViperSRT10FECoupe24_0421/large_28.jpg

I won't make the first event but hope to be out there for a few others...

Nope, Jason can drive and his car runs good...

You might want to do some research, there are plenty make 600-700whp ALL day on the stock internals. There are quite a few making 800-900whp+ on them if you want to get technical. Even then it's bad tuning and slightly bent rods when something does happen..... Not that it matters if he's keeping it stock but the potential for easy upgrades is there... You can pick them up cheap (Gen I-III) but I'd look at a Gen-IV. Some people don't want to mod the 08+ because of the VVT setup but they do make great power with a capable tuner. I've always wanted one but downside is the interior is straight JUNK DODGE... Prices are starting to go up now $150-170k+...

MORE.....I don't know his exact times but I know of another similar that has gone 9's @ 140...

Just saw this, will try and email tonight. Thinking about refinancing with the lower rates, currently have a VA loan and wondering your rates and closing costs. Thanks, Josh

Not to mention if you are looking at a 996/997-Turbo its because you want something different. ANYONE can buy a damn C5/6 and mod it. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that but.....when you go to a meet and there are three and four cars EXACTLY like yours....you'll want something different after a while. In this case a 996/997 would be a great start...

I like the triple and quad setups.....plus the look pretty sick! http://www.mileanhour.com/files/2010/11/680754-large2.jpg 2,200HP with these two! http://nbrhd.com/CuratorsLife/files/2011/02/542xducati-7.jpg Then you get into the crazy stuff like Mystic with 2-T-55-L-7C Lycoming turbine engines kicking out 3,000 hp each... http://www.turbinemarine.com/images/AMF/AMF_04.jpg They have a quad setup also but they are running over 200mph with twins....

What's worse, those losers or the fact that girls/woman actually fall for that BS... :lolguy: WOW.....don't even know what to say but WOW.....not a lot surprises me with UGR... Not to mention, even if you were that stupid....the club girls are not even something to brag about... http://www.myspace.com/tmccharlotte/photos/9087986 Figured it was "Come at me!" :dumb:

Place looks good and your office is SHARP!! I'd recommend getting some DARK tint or at least shades on the windows so people can't see what you have in there (unless you want them to see). You need some car posters or something on the walls unless you want it to look more club/bar, man cave-ish. Good stuff though either way...

It would be fun as hell to drive but could they pick an uglier car. Seriously some UGLY crap out there right now.... This is what people do with them to improve things... http://fancytuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/nissan-juke-custom.jpg http://sportcarnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Nissan-Juke-Tune-3.jpg http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/h426/martinfoppen/Juke/IMG_1365.jpg http://blog-imgs-45.fc2.com/d/c/6/dc601/_K3W2007.jpg

Didn't mean to turn this into a suggestion thread just got bored working late and figured I'd throw out ideas. The 997TT and C6Z are still the BEST choices... The only reason I recommended them is because of this... They are expensive but as you said the 360/430's are much better than the older models. Then again, if you are looking at a $120k+ car the maintenance costs shouldn't be an issue. I can't help but laugh at these guys that get exotic car lease/loans and finance it like a plane/house for 15-20+ years...LOL! So many people trying to look the part when really they are anything but...

What exactly are your intentions with the car???? DD? Weekend/nice weather only car? Track car? 1/4-mile? Roll racing? 1-Mile? Autocross? Roadrace? That is going to be the deciding factor.... If you just want something cheap to mod/race, then I would go with the C6Z. If you want something more special then I would look at the Porsche or something else. You can buy a LOT of cars in that price range. If you just want looks and to look like a baller (but otherwise a turd), get an Aston Martin or something in that class. If you want something fun but a DD, then get the new M5 or E63 AMG, etc. If you want something that will do ALL of those things and drive in the winter, get the 997-Turbo. However, I would wait a few more months. Now that the 991 has hit the lots prices will DROP and once the 991-Turbo comes out, they will drop even more. If you were doing more track day type events I would look at a 997-GT3. I have been doing the same shopping and really can't decide. I just haven't found anything I just HAVE to have. At this point with my schedule it will just sit in the garage so what's the point. Go drive them ALL and take notes on the good/bad of each. The only reason I wouldn't buy a C6Z is in Houston they are EVERYWHERE. They are like Mustangs use to be years ago. Now that the prices have dropped and used ones are cheap, they just aren't that special "to me" when I see one on about every corner. If you are going to mod it and beat on it, you can't beat the price/performance....but if you want something rarely seen forget it. They are worse than Terminators use to be...
