  1. I'd rock them but for $2k+ they better come with the auto dry jacket and a hover board...
  2. You guys need to get out more....
  3. If you qualify (have a family member that can get you in) I always recommend USAA. I haven't found anyone that can touch them on cars, home, and motorcycle (however, they don't do motorcycles for new customers. Now it's through Progressive which sucks)...
  4. As much as I like the ZL1, can't help but say it won't matter... The next GT500 will make more power and be faster/lighter. At roadcourse stuff the BOSS is still the king and for what you save you can Turbo/Supercharge it and still have $10k extra in savings. Even with mods, look what the CTS-V's are running BPU and the current GT500's BPU. Subtract the weight from the CTS-V's figures and the ZL1 will be pretty close maybe a hair quicker...
  5. Why would you even sell something and mail it without tracking???
  6. I like this better: http://www.youtube.com/user/jetmanofficial
  7. Sucks to see this stuff but glad you guys are ok! I've never met you but take care of yourself and your guys over there. You all are in our prayers...
  8. LOL....this is funny! From the bike: Lets not forget he was only making around 400whp in 5th and 6th for the races (not 450), it wasn't turned up for every gear. They will get together again, so I don't know what people are pissed about. Car got the hit and won the first race, second race bike was ready and GAME OVER!!! Now where are the 500, 600, and 700whp+ Turbo BUSA's...
  9. Hyundai.....and that's all you had to say...lol...
  10. Depends how bad you want something and how much you want to save or deal. I had no trouble traveling 5+ hours to save a few thousand. One way tickets are fine and cheap. I picked up my wifes car from the port in Baltimore on a $59 Air Tran ticket and saved $6k...
  11. Don't get me wrong, the car mechanically will be fine and you'll probably have fun with it BUT.....it's not worth $10-12k.....you are shooting yourself in the foot at that price... http://www.edmunds.com/ford/mustang-svt-cobra/1999/?ps=used&sub=convertible&zip=45433 TRUE PRICE: http://www.edmunds.com/ford/mustang-svt-cobra/1999/tmv-appraise-results.html To far away? Seriously? I've seen built cars with superchargers and the works for $10-14k. What you are buying isn't worth anywhere near that price... Termi swap: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/new-edge-cobras-410/792094-fs-1999-cobra-w-terminator-engine-swap.html Vortec: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/new-edge-cobras-410/767841-99-vert-500rwhp.html Basics: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/new-edge-cobras-410/785478-fs-99-cobra-vert.html Twin-Turbo: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/new-edge-cobras-410/777693-fs-99-cobra-conv-w-twin-turbos-t56-more.html Plenty of others that sold in minutes.....you can't even build them close to what they are selling for...

  13. I was giving you some examples, PLENTY out there if you want a vert. Eithery buy an 01+ Cobra or get the '99 for under $7k.... If you are okay with the 96-98 SN95 style then I would get one of those for the money...otherwise a '99+ GT vert. will do what you need for less $$$. 94-98 SN95 and 99-04 new edge technically is the same chassis......05+ is the S197! 94-95 5.0L 96-04 4.6L SOHC/DOHC
  14. KBB isn't even close on what those '99s are worth. Try Edmunds or something else....even $10k for that car is a joke. All those reasons you like it are reasons its not worth the money. Heck, buy a GT and pay half that price if you want that look. Not to mention with the IRS, you probably won't be any faster than a GT if you don't know how to launch it. The IRS is nice for cruising though. Just saying, look around LOTS of deals on 01+ cars which would be a much better buy for the money... Before you waste a bunch of time, go drive the '99 and see what you think. Do a couple spirited launches from a stop sign or light and see what you think. You'll know right away if you want it or not... If so... http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/new-edge-cobras-410/782331-2001-cobra-low-miles.html http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/new-edge-cobras-410/794378-2001-oxford-white-coupe-54k-mi.html http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/new-edge-cobras-410/779443-2001-ford-mustang-cobra-black-virginia.html http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/new-edge-cobras-410/781407-2001-performance-red-cobra-62k-miles-11-000-kentucky.html http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/new-edge-cobras-410/786853-fs-wtt-2001-laser-red-med-parchment-cobra.html For a little more you could do this: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/terminators-buy-sell-254/794388-fs-2003-zy-cobra-whipple-21k-miles.html
  15. It's not just that....it's got the early IRS which isn't beefed like the 03/04 Cobra so wheel hop is insane. Not to mention visually it has a Mustang GT rear bumper (doesn't say Cobra like later years), has a GT spoiler (not Cobra specific that year), the hood later became the base V6 hood, GT seats (no improved bolsters like later), the wheels were special that year but later became a GT package and then V6 pony wheel the last few years, no special colors other than Green that year, etc..etc.. Have you driven it yet?? Even if it's perfect you are talking $6k or less value... If you are set on that style, I would at least get a 2001 (2000 was only available in AUS other than the "R"-model).
  16. Hahaha....wifes coworker just bought one and is going to be pissed....
  17. I wouldn't buy a '99 honestly, it's considered the bastard year. To many miles IMO and to many clean/nice Cobra's out there unless he's giving it away...
  18. What's different? Looks the same as the other colors they've had....is it just the White is new?
  19. I'd say your neighborhood is pretty lax, I see four things right off the bat that my HOA would have a shit fit over...
  20. I don't see the problem.....if you are the HOA president then you are expected to be the example for EVERYONE to follow. That is your job and maybe that is what she expects of you..... Then again, without pics..... .....I would just go knock on her door and see what's up. Depending how that goes, I may or may no go to the next step...
