  1. I'm sure he will. What was his screen name?
  2. Is there a specific goal in mind? Otherwise, you can buy a LS1 Camaro/Firebird for almost nothing these days...
  3. The car looks very familiar. Post it up on SVTPerformance and see if anyone claims it or knows the car/history. Otherwise, get a carfax and/or try calling the 1800FORDSVT line and see if they'll tell you the previous owner (unless you have a friend that works at the dealer that can run the OASIS report). Depending on price, might be a good buy. Then again, it might be raced to it's last leg also...
  4. I'm sure Underground Gallardo-TT's run 12's and can't hook...
  5. Are you a car salesman or something with guaranteed income?
  6. Rhett, PM me your address and I'll send you a Dave Ramsey book for FREE!
  7. Anything can be fast.....just takes money! Plenty that do, but most owners don't set them up for street digs...
  8. So what do you do now? You aren't SF anymore?
  9. My favorite part is the Supra looks stock. I hate all the crazy shit some people put on them....
  10. Lots of things you can do but filling bankruptcy for $20k is absurd... Are you still active duty millitary? Hell, a part time job on the side would easily cover that!
  11. You may look into the Secret Service also. It may be something to get you by until you have some contacts/references until you get what you are looking for.
  12. 2001 is the first year of the GSXR1K and they are ALL fuel injected... I don't recommend one for your first bike and I sure as hell wouldn't buy a salvaged one when you are talking pennies more for a clean/perfect one of those years.
  13. You are bat shit crazy if you file for $20k. Get a loan and pay that shit off in 4-5 years......$20k isn't worth all the shit you will go through down the road. I thought you were $200k+ not under-$20k... :dumb:
  14. +1 1.5-mile > 1-Mile > 1/4 > 1/8
  15. If you are actually going to buy one, CALL your insurance before you do anything. Depending on your record, credit, history, etc...that is usually the deciding factor for many!
  16. Depending on the company, BUSA's are in the Sport Touring category so they are typically MUCH cheaper than liter bikes to cover...
  17. It all depends on the insurance company. Some base it on CC's regardless of bike type (why the 1600, 1800+ cruiser are expensive). Some base it on the type and could care less about CC. i.e. Sportbike...anything GSXR, CBR, ZX-xR, YZF-R, etc. means big bucks....again, depending on the company. This is also based on FULL coverage, they are all cheap for liability only... To give you an idea I paid $206 for full coverage on my BUSA through USAA in Ohio, same coverage in TX is almost $600. Keep in mind USAA doesn't cover new policies so if you call them now you go through Progressive. Progressive quoted me $4,000 for 6-months with the same coverage I have now...:lolguy: State Farm was the only other company that could get close to my USAA rates and they wanted more for my cars!
  18. Typically, older guys with kids have wives that don't allow them to own a sportbike. They figure if they get a cruiser the wife has less to say about it IF she even lets them ride. Are your balls still in your possesion? Otherwise, buy whatever the hell you want.... :gabe:
  19. Are you looking for a CBR or cruiser or what?
  20. It would be worth the drive to Toledo to go to HondaEast, there prices are usually the cheapest around... http://www.hondaeasttoledo.com/ Which model are you looking at?
  21. What kind of racing do you want to do? You can always go faster for less money, it all depends on the owner needs.....
  22. Sorry, for your loss. Prayers sent to his wife and FIVE children....very sad!
  23. I posted this in Johnny Bravo's thread: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91350&page=4
