  1. Just imagine your riding no matter what and it will be ok. I road 7 hours today and only ran into a 10 min sprinkle all day.
  2. Thanks for the info. I am sure it was from my mounting of it not the tape as I've use it elsewhere and works great. I probably just rushed before going out and didn't allow enough time for adhesion.
  3. Oh and I'll have to go take another video this weekend since I did not keep the old ones on the card. Also on durability I think this camera does well. I tried to use a 3M mount it came with while waiting for Amazon mount and it came off at 55mph and was still on and recording when I found it in the grass off the road. Only damage was a slight scuff on corner of housing in two places.
  4. Let me see how to put something on YouTube. Never used YouTube before so once I get something posted I'll link it here.
  5. Just wanted to post an update. I got the mount suggested above from Amazon and it works great. Thanks @JustinNck1for the solid advice. Now I'm back to showing the kids. Cool parts of rides and now they want dirt bikes lol
  6. Thanks for the input always good to hear someone else has it and likes it. I'll be sure to go to them directly if that is the route I go. I just want some better sound than that stock pipe and a I think the black widow will give it a nice look.
  7. Did more research on aftermarket exhaust. Leaning towards Black Widow out of the U.K. Full system for just over $400 shipped.
  8. I find that going anywhere up to 90 on open roads is not to bad but when you get on the highway in traffic then as you get the turbulent air off of semis and big trucks it beats the shit out of you over 75-80. In usually take backroads or if hitting the highway always try to find a open area to speed up into and ride until I catch the next cluster of traffic and then get in front of them in a nice open area. Doesn't always work if traffic is really thick. If I ever get the extra cash I'd like to have another bike with some wind protection for bad weather days, long rides, and riding in real cold weather. 33 degree mornings on a naked sucks bad.
  9. I guess I've been lucky I've never had issues "yet" with anyone. When I was in the Marines I had buddies that had some issues that they told me about after it happened but have been fortunate to always have nice rides with no issues. Minus of course oblivious cagers either to sucked into their phone or just not paying attention pulling out in front of me, changing lanes in front of me, the normal crap but once I have their attention they always get out of the way or look like they are going to shit themselves for not seeing me not wanting to pick a fight.
  10. I am going to try and get down there for at least one day. Just waiting to make sure work isn't sending me on any trips out of state/country during that time.
  11. Took a nice 3 hour ride around the area.
  12. I heard 101 beer kitchen is good
  13. This might help keep track of your changes and everything as you dial it in. I find once I have it good in the garage I always have slight adjustment to rebound or something after riding it to get it where it feels good. I usually always try to get it good with stock suspension due to being cheap, but I'm also not a racer so I have some leeway in my adjustments. Suspension Setup Worksheet.docx Oh and if it feels like shit right now look in the manual for stock settings and start adjustments from there.
  14. Road to work, hoping to stay dry this afternoon. Probably should invest in a waterproof laptop case before my work laptop gets soaked one day. I also messed with my suspension a little bit more the yesterday and I think it is finally dialed in just how I like. Now need to write the settings down so I have them if I ever make a change I don't like. @JustinNck1 those wings look tasty, now I'm hungry for hot wings at 9am. If any of you guys are up in Marysville ever look up Benny's pizza they have smoked wings and a sauce called Neal's O'Flame that is good and hot. They have a big open patio/bar area and have bands playing on weekends in the summer.
  15. Well looks like this probably fizzled out but here is an idea for a ride but the map is leaving Marysville. Not sure on the roads but was bored and thought I'd throw something together. The short URL for directions is here: https://goo.gl/maps/XESCECHiH5k I hear the food at the Tilton Hilton is good up at Indian Lake.
  16. Thanks @JustinNck1 I may take you up on that one weekend.
  17. Debating on ordering a set of CRG lane splitter mirrors, new rage cycles front turn signals and fender eliminator for the bike. Would clean it up a lot but not sure if it is worth $400 just for a few cosmetic upgrades.
  18. Yea I am from Cambridge originally and went to school in South Eastern Ohio. I miss those roads while I'm out hitting all these straight farm roads around me here, but any day on the bike is better than a day sitting on the couch.
  19. @CurbedSedition, still planning a ride or did the plan fizzle out?
  20. Went for a nice morning ride before the family got up. Just road until I didn't know where I was and then worked my way home. Really nice ride with low traffic and only saw one sheriff on the way home.
  21. Perfect, thanks @JustinNck1 and @MSerfozo I'll try that mount and tethers. I guess you can't expect much from a $80 kit with camera and mounts but didn't want to jump to GoPro prices if I ended up never using it.
