Are you trying to increase the chances of the bike getting jacked or what?  Insurance check bitches!  While you are at it up your insurance plan.  Have you ever driven in NYC?

Wojo has it.  Rent a car and make sure you've got adequate insurance.

If you've got to enjoy the scenery, contact a dealership near your destination.  Put bike in for service, rent a car and go to whatever the hell's worth doing there.  Drive back to dealer, pick up bike, ride home.

  2. I'm sure it will be!  Best shot (pardon the pun) might be first thing this morning?  I don't think they notified anyone enough in advance to plan time off from work.  "Hey boss, got to run home for an emergency for a bit; be back in an hour..."

Show up at lunch or take the rest of the day off.  while waiting your turn, plan an elaborate, believable story for rest of the day being wasted.

Edited to add I won't bother.  No $$$ and not an M&P fan.

  3. This weekend the Blue Ash Point Blank store will be offering a "free test-fire" of this handgun, which the email I received says you can then purchase for $549.99.  I do not know if other locations up north will be offering the same deal; you'll have to check.

  4. Brand new off the showroom floor.

Read your owner's manual and then get a FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL. (Fuck Chilton's)  Read it.  Bet there's a section commenting on breaking in at least the top end (pistons, rings, maybe seating valves.)

    Re-built to new.

Whoever did your work (assuming he's competent and yes; they're out there) will have a chat on how to break it in, and probably what he does with fools who wring a new motor out, drag it back in with the pistons imbedded in the fairing or other body panels.  If you did your own work, you pretty much know already.  Unless you're rich and enjoy buying replacement parts over and over, having the bike trucked home; you'll damned well do it properly.

While we're on the subject, I am full well aware I am the dumb-assed knuckle dragging greasy Harley freak.  But I am also a mechanic of sorts, and cannot stand to see equipment abused.  Nothing uglier than spun bearings, busted rods and busted engine cases.  Dealer or independent shops who do your "warranty repairs" when you make scrap metal out of their product feel pretty much the same.  You who say ride it like you stole it...well, good luck.  I hope the OP figures out better than that.

    Let the flaming begin... :D

Took a tour through that distillery.  What ncredible aromas inside the barrel aging warehouse!!

The Kentucky Bourbon Trail.  Maker's Mark and others.  Excellent tour.  I highly recommend it.

My mother's people made their own liquor for God knows how many generations.  Served time for it, got shot over it and shot others.  I've run it up north.  Both legitimate distilleries and the small operations around Corbin, Barboursville and further south are part of our history that most won't talk much about; especially the illegal traditions.

  6. Those are neat too.  I've had an itch for a M1A ever since I left the Army.  The Director of Finance and Baking here doesn't see the need...her shoulder's still fucked up from shooting my M1. :D

I would be curious to shoot one with a composite stock and see how that is.

I've shot one of these; in basic training we were hitting targets out to 600 yards.  There was a guy on my base overseas that could hit a 5 gallon bucket out about 1000 yards with one of these.  He was damned good.

The Army also made these available to snipers even after issuing the M-16 as a standard duty weapon.  And that $1399.97 is a good price.

Absolutely. A vote of no confidence is a valid vote.

That is true I guess.  Actually we don't vote for a candidate anymore.  We're voting against whoever they're running against.  Personally I don't care for some asshat running for a second term of anything.  By his second term, money and greed have corrupted them; they're useless.

  9. "... the real issue is to look at the broad, strategic picture and the impact that technology will have..."

Another way of putting this is stepping back from the tree to see the forest.  Not in I.T. but in the field I used to work in I was constantly amazed that mechanical engineers couldn't find a problem holding a failed piece in their hand, looking at just the part that failed but not seeing how the rest of the assembly might have stressed the part's design past it's breaking point.

I'm I.T. challenged so I'll not comment on his qualifications or lack of them.  I'm just saying.

Love it!  And I'm pleased as hell with his attitude.  Just what ISIS needs to suffer.  For a while now I've feared the new combat uniform for U.S. soldiers/sailors would be that pink camo crap.

  11. Enough.  There will be no need for all this crap in 2020, for I will be running for President.  Up front; I am a bastard asshat son-of-a-bitch.  I drink too much, use too much profanity and have been a whore dog and slut puppy all at the same time.  I ride a fucking Harley, and am in good standing retired from a three piece club.  I will not take any shit from N. Korea, I will nuke them.  Flat 10% income tax across the board.  Somewhere out there is a picture of me nakid with a fat whore.

And someone somewhere could still find something to blackmail my fat ass with.

If I gave a fuck about that sort of shit.

Now...who wants to be the V.P.?
