Some bikes (like mine) also use the ABS system to briefly pulse the rear brake as you pull in the front. This helps stabilize the chassis for better braking control. Of course pure race pro's don't necessarily like this, but it's a big benefit for street applications for your average rider.

Yep...wish i would have held out for a bike that has lean-sensitive ABS!

I mostly agree. If you (we) stop giving free healthcare, food, housing, drivers license, education, etc..etc to illegals, and start prosecuting criminal activity, then they really have little reason to cross the fence. In fact they'd be pouring back south like moths to a flame. Like they say, if you dont want birdshit on your porch, stop filling the bird-feeder! The only segment you can't really affect is the drug traffic, which is where the wall is a good idea.

With regard to funding the 'wall', there is already budgeted money for at least some of it. See "Merida Initiative".

You'd likely be surprised how well a GS handles. I was a skeptic until I test-rode the 09 that I then purchased. Coming from sporty bikes, i was not expecting how well they perform. And with the telelever, you can brake very hard without upsetting the chassis. I had a 04 FJR and rode it to California and back. I learned to hate that bike on that trip. A couple years later i took the GS to New Mexico. Wow. So much nicer. I know there have been many upgrades to the FJR over the years, so I'm sure the new ones are lightyears ahead. Anyhow, I'm hooked.

Can i remove the extremely aerodynamic panniers, top box, and put the windscreen in the Low position first???
