Don't know, but the wife says I eat too many!

We could kick the bucket.....might solve a lot of problems!

If they failed enough to get that much oil out, something must have impacted/damaged them. They dont see much pressure, unlike "any other fork" seal. On the other hand, there isnt supposed to be much oil in there in the first place!

Wow...I had been reading their RR on ADVrider. That bike is not very new, and how many miles??
-
They're not seals in the traditional sense. Theres just a little oil in there for slide lubrication. Most people ignore the small telelever seeps...wont hurt a thing.
-
Another reason i like the telelever suspension of the BMW...no such thing as fork springs, fork seals, etc.

Just ran into the guy who bought my last GS1200 (09). Took it to California and back. No problems. Must have at least 70k on it now, with no service beyond maintenance items. Not too bad.

Needs fork springs already??? Or u just changing the rate?

The red loop at the front of the seat...is that the emergency ejection cord?

Tail of the dragon and the Snake are two different roads. The snake adds lots of elevation changes compared to the dragon! Its a wicked little stretch. I have yet to do the "Rattler", also in the general area.

I know its all in the rider, but....

The Vrod has a very limited lean angle...and they are pretty heavy. The Streetrod was a promising platform, but sadly that only lasted a couple years.

Re: American motorcycle companies....I'd consider a Motus if they cut the price by 1/3rd!

I think all of those are in Tuscarawas county!!

Doesn't explain why Harley's are so expensive!

Right...my buddy has an ancient 1100 shadow. Had the suspenders re-done with hi end bits, raised it a bit. Rides it HARD! We call it the "Reclining Rocket". OH...and welcome!!!
