    WNC July 12-16

I'm trailering down on Sunday, Jul 11, to ride the usual, and some unusual, roads with my buddy Dave. Well be staying at the Holiday Inn in Sylva. Anybody want to join us?
  2. The master is radial and it has a matching clutch master as well.
  3. I bought some spare parts for it - a compete donorcycle. I thought I had done a lot of performance upgrades to my Bandit until I saw this one. Keep an eye on this thread for more of me bragging as I transfer parts to mine. When I find parts that aren't model specific, I'll post them for sale here.
  4. Just because you're trash doesn't mean you can't do great things. It's called "trash can" not "trash cannot".
  5. Thanks Michael, ordered last night!
  6. Yep, Riders Discount FTW. Best price I was able to find anywhere.
  7. Yep, I'm PM'ing with Michael right now. Just have to give him a call and a CC #.
  8. What's your price on a DID 530 ZVM x-ring chain? I need 120 links and either nickel or no plating. Thanks.
  9. July 25th is the last day of VMD at Mid-Ohio if anybody cares.
  10. Got it! Only 18 days from ordering. It's a full 1 lb lighter than the JT steel sprocket I'm currently running. Does anybody know a good place to get a DID 530 ZVM chain?
  11. Looks like Supersprox is ahead of schedule. Assembly was finished and the overseas shipping odyssey began on Mon. It's in Germany as of today. And don't think I didn't think about ordering 2, but for that price, I want to see how well I like it.
  12. I'd be interested to see what the old bike will pull and to meet some of you. Any idea when?
  13. Thanks guys. Surprisingly, I feel less sore today than I did last night. I figured I'd be miserable for several days.
  14. This morning on the way to work I crashed. I'm OK and the bike is just a little rashed. It's still rideable and I got out of there before I had any "police attention". I was exiting I71-N to make a left at Polaris. The light was green and I was in the rightmost of the two left turn lanes. Right at my turn-in point I must have hit something slippery because the front just let go and the bike went down on the left side so fast that I couldn't even process what happened. Everything went to slow motion and I remember feeling the bar end grinding on the street while I was still holding both grips. Then I watched the bike slide away from me and I tried to stand up but realized I was still sliding. After I stopped I went to the bike and shut off the key. I picked it up and looked for fluids on the ground. All clear so I started it up and checked again for fluids, then rode the rest of the way to work. According to the GoPro, I was going 25mph when the front end went out - plenty slow enough for the radius of that curve and I've done it hundreds of times. There was too much traffic to go out and check for an oily patch. From the crash to my riding away, was 1:40 and in that time nobody stopped of even yelled out their windows to ask if I needed any help - but I guess me lifting the bike back up and starting it up may have caused them not to worry. I would have at least slowed down and asked... The only non-cosmetic problem I had is a broken shifter tip and I fixed it by drilling and tapping the end for a bolt and a jam nut - one of the perks of working in an assembly shop. The guys at work scrutinized my video more closely than the Zapruder film and they thought this pic was humorous, and since I'm not hurt, I guess I have to agree.
