Spent a few hours stripping the crashed bike. There was some serious carnage inflicted. PO was lucky to survive. Damn, was it ever hard to pull that bent front axle out! Thought I was going to have a nearly new Angel front tire but it beat up pretty bad. Would you ride on it? It still holds air and the rim is OK. Good news - the shock is just like my Hayabusa shock but it's been fully RaceTech'd. I thought I'd have to swap the spring but the PO had an identical 800lb Eibach!

And today I got the master cylinder mounted & adjusted and the brake light switch spliced in.

Got the Brembos swapped from the wreck to my bike. Hardest part was stripping the old wrecked fairing from the donor. I'll never own a bike with a fairing. Naked FTW!

Found Bald River Falls by accident when we were riding the area and staying in Murphy. It was a cool, drizzly day so we went exploring in the 4Runner and left the bikes behind. We took Hanging Dog Road out of Murphy and drove at least 20 miles of unpaved roads until we came to the other end of River Road and followed it to the Cherohala passing the waterfall on the way. We only saw about a dozen cars until we started to get close to the falls. There is a cool campground in the middle of nowhere right at the NC/TN state line.

Yep, Western NC. I'm sure we'll see parts of East TN and NE GA and maybe even SC as well.

The master is radial and it has a matching clutch master as well.

I bought some spare parts for it - a compete donorcycle. I thought I had done a lot of performance upgrades to my Bandit until I saw this one. Keep an eye on this thread for more of me bragging as I transfer parts to mine. When I find parts that aren't model specific, I'll post them for sale here.
