I was a tech for Nissan in my previous life. I saw Nissan warranty an engine that had a rod knock at 60k miles with a customer that had one service ticket from her first oil change at less than 10k miles. She admitted that was the only time the car saw a service department. Nissan didnt even fight her on warranty. Turns out, per case precident, a single oil change is a "sufficient attempt at maintenance" and she would have cost more in litigation than the reman'd VQ35 that I installed.

Tried my luck at beating the front after work and snagged a quickie. Obligatory mid-point pic as evidence I still own a bicycle. About half a mile from home the front caught me and damn near put me into a curb. Wow! Very unnerving as I wasn't ready for such a strong cross wind. Still beats not riding. I think it needs shallower drops. Maybe a Nitto Noodle is in order?

I have a propane heater that will keep your garage warm, Sam. I will toss it in the trunk. We might need a contingent tank, though. I have no idea how much is in mine. Could be enough. Could be empty.
