  1. Tried my luck at beating the front after work and snagged a quickie. Obligatory mid-point pic as evidence I still own a bicycle. About half a mile from home the front caught me and damn near put me into a curb. Wow! Very unnerving as I wasn't ready for such a strong cross wind. Still beats not riding. I think it needs shallower drops. Maybe a Nitto Noodle is in order?
  2. I have a propane heater that will keep your garage warm, Sam. I will toss it in the trunk. We might need a contingent tank, though. I have no idea how much is in mine. Could be enough. Could be empty.
  3. It's a Harley. Isn't "slow" the soup de jour?
  4. Ohio is a giant piece of shit and Cleveland is the bloody slime part that makes you consider calling the doctor for a once over.
  5. Decided to start it to make sure it still runs. Then I rode it for a bit to make sure I can still pilot. Affitmative on both counts.
  6. So much meat. So little gag reflex. I can bring Lawson's and potato chips and some scratch to offset my ingestion footprint. I also have whiskey.
  7. Rode the Duc to work. Not sure it was a good idea, though. Now I wish I was someplace else.
  8. 175 and holding. I am going to be so fast this season. So fast...
  9. I started the ST3 and aired the tires. I just may ride it tomorrow.... maybe.
  10. Primanti sammiches are decent. Their pizza is where it's at.
  11. Tim, you should discuss your fitness goals with your PT the hospital stuck you with before you do anything else.
  12. That looks nice and flickable.
  13. Word up. I won't be strapping the Wheelhouse to my bike this time, but I may have room for some closed-toe footwear. If I can make the trip, I'll go hiking with you. Plus, I can carry my own water.
  14. I'll humbly accept Jerry as a guardian angel. No outrunning him anymore and he knows how to roll.
  15. Rest In Peace, Sailor Jerry. Godspeed and thank you for your service. You were a man we should all strive to emulate. My Yuasa popped one evening on a looooooong ride home, and we were basically between I-77 and OH-800, on OH-22. I called home for help and a tow, but got an ear full of nope. Jerry refused to leave my side, even stayed until the wrecker arrived and loaded me up. I was already discouraged about some home issues and he even counseled me a bit and then called to check in on me a few days later. I'm grateful to have met him and honored to have known him. He had that old-school charm and charisma. The world is a lesser place without him, but I'm a better man because of his kindness.
  16. 175 lbs this morning. Chasing whiskey with whiskey. Breakfast of champions.
