  1. Just put a Avon on the front. I'm out rite now (well not rite now...as I'm here warming my hands). Once warm will go back out and get the mold wax wore off, or maybe just the sticker anyway. All said and done...$165.00 Tire, UPS chg (via)my gas station guy, mounted and balanced and old tire dealt with...Oh and taxes.

As I said before, I just wheel in and leave the bike, then pick it up a bit later. VFW anyone? Welcome to Killbuck, Intersection of SR60 and USR62 (SR520 is there too!).

Kurt had around 40 tires in stock this morning! Kawi Kid. When's yer delivery run down there?

  2. S'Me agin...went to the Hotel again yesterday. The table placard now says, "To Be Arranged" in the last space for the October Dinner Theatre. No more "Sweeney Todd". So I got amused a second time for the same thing!

The guy is truly missing out....October, Halloween, serve meat pies. C'mon it'd be great!

  3. Petcock up under the tank forward? It was way up there...and it did shut fuel off. But it wasn't like it was anything a skinny lil' hand could reach. Bike is back on road and now I gotta clean it!

The test ride, was out to USR62 to SR206 to SR715 and Mohawk Dam and back down thru Warsaw to pick up SR60. Fair amount of gravel and mud pulled out on road from farmers and gravel pit activity. Didn't see the guy bar-b-Q'ing the pork on SR36.

One tank full gone and looks like a new front tire for tomorrow too.

    Sorry Fonzie, no pics.

  4. Itz alive! SO it turned out to be a fuel problem. Way up under the tank, At the front, was a valve of some sort on the intake (don'tcha love all that technical talk?). Best analogy given to me it was like a shut off valve and it, just shut off. $175 for new part.

  5. If you folks need somethin' to run that day....this guy is selling his street bike!

Stotz Racing ProStreet Blackbird for sale: and Kent comes with the package

Kent Stotz’s 7.27@201.82 record setting 585HP Blackbird with a complete history and all Blackbird data to date is for sale for $34,000 if purchased before the first race March 1st. Buy the bike and set up camp on the Manufacturers Midway with the Stotz Racing-Honda Drag Race Team. Kent will tune and teach at all AMA Dragbike events and select test sessions. Kent will be tuning for his son Frank in the much less time consuming SuperStreet class. This has left Kent with the time to mentor the next team that wants to win and set records in the ProStreet class. Kent’s Honda win and record bonuses can transfer to new owner. E-mail serious inquiries to kentstotz@comcast.net.

  6. It'd be the next day so, Bit late, but went with deep fried chicken and fish...in them bucket deals. Sooo healthy, I think I felt my artery harden right then and there! I think alcohol thins it all out!

    So what are ya drinkin'?

I'll be heading up to the hotel again...we'll see if the owner is still talkin' to me. Maybe I can just peev a couple paying customers this trip!

  7. An ugly man walks into his local pub with a big grin on his face.

"What are so happy about?" asked the bartender.

"Well, I'll tell you," replies the ugly man.

"You know, the railroad tracks I live by? Well on my way home last nite, I noticed a young girl tied to the tracks. and like in the films. I, of course, went and cut her free and took her back to my place."

"Anyway, to make a long story short, I scored big time! We made love all night, all over the house. It was amazing!"

"Fantastic!" exclaimed the barman. "You lucky guy, was she pretty?"

    "Dunno.....Never found the head!"

  8. I was at one of them fancy restaurants and dropped my fork and the waiter brought me another one rather quickly. My napkin slipped to the floor and again poste haste I was provided with a new one. I thought great, so I pushed my wife off of her chair........

  9. Hey! It's Monday and wasn't doin' anything really. Ran to pick up lunch at the local hotel. The owner tries to get things going and latest was a dinner theatre deal.

As I sat waiting for the order to come out...I noticed that one of the dinner/theatre plays was "Sweeney Todd". I'm pretty sure I didn't laff out loud, but did ask the owner if he was serving 'meat pies'.

He had the most quizzed look on his face, and said, "We're serving Shepard's Pie". Then I did laff out loud. Told him, I loved it! Absolutely great! What a hoot!

Basic drift was, he wasn't aware of the story....so I gave him a quik overview. "Sweeney Todd" has now been cancelled as one of the Dinner Theatre happenings.

What a lily! ....and I'm still laffing!

Shoulda just left it be I guess.

  10. Yeah, Deliverance....that'd be an urban area for me! Internet by kerosene.

Four months old? I don't think I've owned the bike that long? When was Fonzie's Pitt Stop?

Well, is this still a road tripie?

It's near 5PM so now I hafta leave the internet now.

  11. Just read, in Roadracing World (March 2009) of a new track, south of Cinci, Ohio. A new 16 million dollar, 500 acre motorsports-country club and road racing facility located along I-71 in Sparta, Ky (50 miles north of Louisville, Ky.). WERA scheduled events for, June 12-14, 2009, and Sportbike Track Time has been named "Official Motorcycle Partner" for Bluegrass Road Course. A 2.5 mile course, but expansion plans have been drawn up for six different variations including a 3.5 mile version.

    www.drivebluegrass.com is listed.

Sounds like "Road Trip" to me.
