I regularly got 30Mbps+ DL with Verizon living on the south side of Indianapolis. Around Columbus I'm lucky to break 10Mbps, which is still considerably faster than my home connection (no surprise, 2Mbps plan).

As stated earlier.. buy an older, high mileage CR-V and move on. Easy to find, cheap to maintain, meets most/all of your requirements, and one less thing to worry about. You will thank yourself later.

Mine was also about 2 weeks for a renewal using the routine service, rather than the 4-6 weeks quoted. You can pay extra for the expedited service, but given the quick turn-around time people have been experiencing I would not bother unless you absolutely need the certainty of a fast turn-around.

Several nationally ranked MBA programs offer complete online degrees nowadays as well, however there is a hefty premium for the flexibility ($1,145/hr vs. $700/hr at Indiana University). Our degrees did not distinguish whether they were earned full-time, part-time, or online. Also, many programs are recognizing the need for flexibility and transitioning to a more hybrid program. For example, my old program is going from 2 nights a week in class, to 1 night a week in class and 1 night online for core classes. I am not too familiar with the local MBA programs, however I have heard Ohio State is also transitioning to a hybrid part-time program (if they haven't already done so).

If you have to choose one, check out St. Elmos. I'm a fan of Fogo de Chao as well, but go hungry to get your moneys worth. If you're downtown for a few meals then you should also check out the RAM and Rathskellar. There are also several micro-breweries to grab a beer if you have the time.
