The new Camaro SS broke the drive-shaft but since the Z06 was fine at the end of the night he got a free ride back to the shop. Vette drove home, Camaro had to get a lift lol. Jeff

Went down to KilKare last night with the Black SC Z06 since Chris was back in town for a few days. First pass he went 9.80 @ 140 and then 10.1 @ 141 off spray and then two passes on spray he had to lift on -- one due to the car getting away from him and the other he blew off an intercooler pipe. We were hoping he would be able to run out a spray pass to get into the low low 9s (And 150mph range) but it just wasn't hooking up for him at all last night. His 60-fts were much better back in March (Also at Kilkare) but he had a good time and it still ran a 9 right out of the gate. Nice thing was our client with the Procharged Camaro broke the driveshaft again on his second pass (First was a 12.0 @ 119 with the traction control on) so since Chris' car was fine he drove the Z06 home and we trailered the Camaro back to the shop instead. He said it averaged 22mph driving home and it feels like he could have driven it back to TX if he wanted to lol. Nice seeing many of you out Jeff PS -- Any stories about street racing on the way home are 100% fictional

Calling out a 180fwhp car LOL. Nice... Jeff
-
We have a 3.4L Supercharged 3000GT here now. Should be quick from a roll but being FWD it will never be any street racing legend lol. Same engine (3L) and blower in a 3rd-gen Eclipse made 414fwhp on the dyno last year. Again, depending on what your frame of reference is, that is a pretty quick car. Nothing like a 700whp Corvette, but much faster than you would expect that particular make/model to be. Jeff

We took off on Saturday and yes, that is the Corvette IRS record. Jeff

Tommy just pulled his cam out of the TBSS a couple days ago (Went bigger). Not sure what he is looking to get for it but it obviously did well with spray in his truck. Jeff

Thanks for stopping down and it was nice meeting you finally Jeff -
Nevermind, I get 50% off list and I still can't touch that price. For what its worth, Tein does have them in the "East" warehouse (Georgia) so they won't take too long to get to Ohio. Jeff
-
We have been direct with Tein forever so I should be ok on price but let me check today to make sure they have them in stock and I will let you know Jeff

I have quite a few options in stock for you (Depending on brand preference and if you prefer a ceramic Vs a semi-met) that I can get you pricing/info for on Monday. I think I have slotted rotors in stock for the car as well... Jeff -

We twisted / bent / broke the prop-shaft and/or driveshaft in some spirited street testing the night before so it was a no-go yesterday. RPM says they are only rated to 1000hp so we obviously put a bit too much stress on it. An upgrade will be put in next week and it will be back out shooting for 8s Jeff -
If it has IS I might take it off your hands. Let me read up a bit more on it and I will let you know Jeff

We did that car back in 2006 so I am sure the owner decided to fix the clamps if they were popping up/off at some point. It is an easy fix at this point regardless. Great car and incredible deal. It was nice to see it again yesterday Jeff

Then show him a little bit of loyalty and go back to Mike. If he took care of you before I am sure he will take care of again Jeff

Too much phone traffic and quotes / emails / estimates for us to keep up with so I am looking for somebody that is interested in a part or full-time sales position here at IPS. Prior sales experience and an above-average knowledge of cars (GM or LSx / SRT8 / Ford V8) is a pre-req. If you are interested please call me at the shop (614-444-5884) or email me at: sales@ipsmotorsports.net TIA, Jeff

I'm not sure if I took any of the manifolds before they made it in the car or not but once installed the manifolds / turbos / WG's are all very difficult to photograph. Our fuel system has been in the car all year and I have pics of it somewhere. I can take pics of the FMIC set-up and custom tubing before the bumper goes back on today though. Something of interest is we actually put the stock intake manifold back on and added mufflers in preparation of Mark running the "True Street" class at the LSx Shoot-out. All yesterdays dyno results were made with both fully installed and the car 100% ready to go Jeff -

The entire APS kit off Mark's car is already going on a C6 we have in the shop now but give me a call and we can discuss some more affordable options for him Jeff -
I took quite a few pics of it at Trails yesterday. If I am not mistaken atleast one or two made it here: Very clean car and it kept lifting the nose even in 2nd gear Jeff
-
Thanks for stopping down! The car looked and performed very well Jeff
-
Actually its 100% a Z06 just with an auto trans in it. For those that drag-race more than road-race the results speak for themselves. We have actually had a number of dealerships contact us about the swap for customers that want the 505hp of a Z06 but have to have an automatic tranny. Jeff

It was over a month ago in Bowling Green, KY but it got rained out and they are not rescheduling it this year. Jeff

The current #5 on that list "69 Vette" is a C6Z that we did the Auto-conversion and tune in so we do have 4 of the top 6 fastest C6Z's out there right now Jeff
