  1. I just realized I had never posted this up here (If I did please delete it but I searched and I think it just got over-looked). We posted a few still pics up but here is the video from Kilkare:
  2. Yes and no. Trails still typically sticks to the rule-book (My brother got the boot after one pass in his EVO last year for running 11s). However, Dragway 42 has always been pretty lenient (Private day or otherwise) last I was there. I think you would be fine there unless you were going wayyyyyy too fast. Jeff
  3. PS -- Call me about that Z06 -- I need you to go get it for me
  4. Mark (Orange Z06) actually got them to "Look the other way" down to a 10.0 with the 4-pt bar most of last year. Unfortunately the car would only go that slow with the boost controller completely turned off lol. Soon as he ran a 9-anything he was kicked out. Private days on the other hand... Jeff
  5. The Z06 has a 4-pt roll-bar but not a formal cage. We got warned both outings and were not allowed to make another pass after his 9-second run. Jeff
  6. Magnaflow only shows a short-bed listing (That I can find anyway) so all I would have is a Pro-flow 4" Stainless system for $436 (Shipped here). If he is interested in it let me know and I can have it here in a day. Jeff
  7. Very good advice EDIT: Cool, they are back lol. I am soooo confused.
  8. I guess you could say that For those that didn't know, Eric H. does a lot of tuning for us and has been doing so for almost a year now. He has tuned everything from 100 different Subaru's to Lambo's to Bikes to AEM EMS-anything's to Honda's to EVOs. On a car like Shawn's Mustang both Eric & Eric would be tuning / driving it on the dyno as I posted previously. I am 1000% confident it will be perfect. Jeff PS -- Did Eric S. make you sign up to talk about IAT's ?
  9. Gotcha. I really didn't think that was in question but thanks Jeff
  10. In a perfect world it would be that easy. I could do complimentary paint jobs and cam upgrades and free alky/meth kits or E85 conversions or even buy stickier tires for cars that make good power but can't hook if they have any IPS parts or stickers on them or whatever. It would literally never end... I can count on one hand the number of cars that the customer has given us free reign to simply "Build it". In those rare instances, anybody can feel free to critique or analyze or pick-apart every last nut or bolt if you would like. Chris Anderson's Z06 (The black one from Texas) is one such an example. There isn't a single facet of the car that isn't exactly how we would have built our own (Except maybe that he wanted to go SC instead of TT). Almost every other car/truck that has come through could have always been better in many different ways. Body / Paint / Tires / Engine mods / Turbo choice / Injector sizing / Tune / Interior / Etc etc etc etc etc .... Back in the real-world where budgets exist and I don't get funded by Microsoft, it simply isn't possible to make every car "Perfect" or as "Good as it could be" while it is in here getting work done to it. Jeff
  11. Designing and welding a true "Cold-air" Intake won't be hard at all. The existing filter most likely will work fine so its just a matter of welding the tubing all together. Since it sounds like pulling the engine is inevitable there is no better time to do it then when it is all going back in. Jeff
  12. I am not sure how much they are doing now (Tuning / Service work). Rob has referred quite a few people to me in the past few months so you might want to touch base with them to confirm. Jeff
  13. I have seen 2 sets of pics posted thus far (Without a single shot of it) so apparently I wasn't the only one Jeff
  14. We have built quite a few really really quick FWD TT cars and I have to say they were really fun to drive. Spun the tires everywhere you went but fun nonetheless. Even a little 15G set-up on a FWD car can make 400+ fwhp easily and trap in the 115mph range without pushing too hard. Jeff
  15. How big of an injector are you running? We have tuned as large as 160-lb in domestic (And import) applications with no problems but I was just curious as that size require a bit more time to get "Daily-driver" mode perfect. Jeff
  16. I think it actually looked better in pictures lol. We will get it taken care of for you though Jeff
  17. Just to throw out another option -- I have 4 Certified AEM EMS tuners at the shop and typically I have two of them tuning each car to ensure that it comes out beyond perfect. Just had a customer show up from Detroit on Monday for an EMS Tune (76mm Turbo car) and another that drove down from north of Toronto that is getting tuned this week. Here is a write-up from a customer that drove his car out from Kansas-City to have his EMS tuned 2 weeks ago: http://www.3si.org/forum/f145/got-my-car-back-ips-wow-462072/ I would put us up against anybody in the Midwest in terms of experience and knowledge with the AEM. Hell, I have had one in my car that Brett has tuned since back in 2000 lol. Get in touch with me if you want to keep it local or just to get a quote Jeff
  18. Did no one take a pic of the yellow GTO that beat the black Z06 out for "Best domestic" ? I was there for over an hour and didn't see it so I would like to see a pic or two. Thanks! Jeff
  19. Turbotrio

    Jeff and IPS

No problem at all -- thank you Jeff
  20. It was good talking to you and glad we are on the same page (Sorry for the misunderstanding on my end). I will have Eric give you a call tomorrow Jeff
  21. If you are referencing SD tuning (Or lack-there-of) then yes you did Just out of curiosity when did you take the classes and who was teaching them? Jeff
