Ive actually never run there--just midohio quite a few times. I just know its a hell of a lot easier to get on and MUCH cheaper to run on ($100 a day last year?) Id prefer just going down 315 at 2am but i figured that would be out of the question tongue.gif

My comments (although possibly construed as critical) were actually just my own thoughts on "bang-for-the-buck" i guess. 340awhp is nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about on a stock turbo car. Not even saying id rather have a cobra than an EVO with the power difference. Spending what you have to make a 340awhp car on the other hand..... But like you said, your money, your car Im glad you built the car to do more than just drag race--so did i. And since youre awfully confident yours will do much better at it than "any mustang or vr4" how bout we meet up at the next ledges day? Cant think of a better place to test your theory--since the nice long straits wont have any reflection at all on which car is making more power Im sure youre not worried though since my 4000lb boat will have to practically come to a stop at the first corner huh tongue.gif You game? Whats a bone stock EVO dyno again? I know most stock 3/s cars that are rated at 320hp put down 22x at all fours so just curious if the EVO is that bad as well. If so, that might explain the numbers. Ton of money for 340 at the wheels when you think an 04 cobra (for same money stock) or little older supra (for less) will put down 100 more than that with like two mods. Hell, hes got damn near (quick math) what ive got in the VR4 and i hope to have a tad more than 400awhp The other part of the equation is that were not used to hearing about awd dyno #s so its hard to compare it to a healthy Big16g dsm or another evo or whatever. Since we dont have any track times / trap speeds (i know i know ill be quiet tongue.gif ) its hard to say how well its doing comparatively. It is a good looking car though--nice wheels [ 08. Thank you captain obvious (for those a bit slower) graemlins/thumb.gif I wasnt trying to compare turbos, i was comparing a worn-out 108k mile engine with a 20g/afc/19psi/TINY rre fmic/2 1/5" exhaust/K&N/gauges vs his list of mods on a brand new car. And to think i wasnt all that crazy about my numbers at the time redface.gif It was more a monetary comparison than anything. Hes got more in the first few lines of mods than i did in my entire car + mods Not including the $28K difference in cost of the cars of course.... Gotta love awd driveline loss

For example: FACT: You raced ricky on 270 and got severly viloated (i was in the passenger seat to witness). SPIN: "I didnt know i was racing...there was a cop...there was an exit coming up...i didnt know if i honked 3 times that meant we were racing...i got out of it early...i didnt build my car to race i built it for me." FACT: At the time of the import carshow Andrew had not purchased and had not had any work done by Quantum Racing errr Technologies and then you have the nerve to critique his set-up when its the only car in the whole group to run any #s.( Unless you are calling him a liar because thats what he told me there ) SPIN: "You dont know who is or isnt a customer of ours...Andy is a great guy...he will be buying parts from us in the future...do i need to show you our invoices?...our set-up would have been better even though we have no numbers to back it up...blah blah blah". For the Millionth time, we (both me personally and IPS as a company) dont have any problem whatsoever with Quantum. If you are referring to my 3000 then i assume you know what the answer is. Howard having to go and get married ( tongue.gif ) is throwing a kink in the plans but we still hope to have her at trails on sunday. The new set-up is close to being broken in (clutch might have 300ish miles on it now) and were gonna turn the boost a hair and see how she does on pump gas mode. Not shooting for any record-breaking times (yet ) but just want to make a few passes and get some tuning done. Since its current best is a 17-sec pass (hopefully zavier will show up so we can race ) anything in the 13s will be a dramatic improvement. The bigger point isnt what times were gonna run--but that WE ARE GOING TO RUN smile.gif Somehow with everyone drinking all day saturday 2 1/2 hrs away in WV and what im sure will be a sleepless night we'll make it back to do what "performance" cars are built to do Or since i just talked to andrew yesterday and know hes planning on going we'll slap some stickers on his car and watch one of "our" cars actually race instead graemlins/gay.gif And if that isnt bad enough then we'll post about it all day monday as if we had something to do with it graemlins/jerkit.gif

Id throw my 2 cents as in as an OPINION (since all ive done thus far is state the shops side of the FACTS) but it would probably just get completely deleted like my last post here so ill let it go. All i will say is that it is one thing to critique a shops work and say they did this wrong or that wrong. Its completely another to ASSume they are directly responsible for things stolen from your vehicle. Your car gets broken into 5 times in the past x number of months and this time it MUST be the shops fault? Just like im sure you know who took things each of the last 4 times too graemlins/nonono.gif Critique the work that is done all you want. Posting here bashing the shop for VOLUNTARILY paying for damages they didnt do and for parts they didnt take and then having the nerve to complain about time delays is a bit much IMO. [ 12.
