I'm not for the death penalty. Do they deserve to die? Yes. Can we, as a society take their lives? I don't think so. I think if you're for the death penalty, you have to have the balls to push the button or pull the lever to do the deed. I just couldn't do it. Also, the justice system isn't perfect. Is one innocent person put to death worth hundreds of guilty ones? Not to me. Of course, I have never had a person close to me killed. I wonder if my opinion would change then.

Last week there was a car fire on 270 N past Hamilton Rd. This morning, on the other side, 270 S, right before I took the Hamilton Rd exit to go to work, I saw a red Firebird that has smashed head on right into where a guardrail starts. It's hard to explain, but it looked really bad. It was abandoned, so I don't know when it happened, but I don't know if the driver could have survived. I searched the local news but couldn't find anything.

+1 for link to original thread. I can't imagine you got banned for simply disagreeing with the death penalty. Now calling the majority of us irrational douchebags...well, I can see some justification with that.

Something similar happened to me a few days ago at a Shell station on Morse and Stelzer. The sign said 3.26 but the pump said 2.26. I didn't notice until I was done pumping, but it still charged me the 3.26.
