    CR Stock Watch

I'm still up about 3% for the year...
  2. I stopped off today and got an estimate, they will be able to fix them for $105 a wheel. That's with the CR discount. Sure beats buying new rims, that's for sure...
  3. I thought about this as well, but I'm looking to go "cheap" for the time being, as long as they look like new and it sounds like they would be. Under $100 per wheel would be fantastic news...
  4. I actually work pretty close to them, I'm going to stop by this week...
  5. Awesome, thanks guys! This is good news...
  6. So they'll fix the rash and it will look like new? I know my rims aren't all ripped up, I just wanted to be sure. Because my first reaction was to buy new rims...
  7. Here's the damage, I just took these pics: http://wease.net/G8/CurbRash1.jpg http://wease.net/G8/CurbRash2.jpg
  8. Over the winter I curbed the right side wheels of my G8 pretty bad. I'll post pics later. Went sliding into a curb downtown. The wheels on my low mileage G8 were perfect, and I want them to be perfect again. How bad is too bad when repairing curb rash and how much does it typically cost?
  9. Odd to hear that about Champion. I used them last year for 5 new windows and a patio door. I couldn't be happier. The guy that did the work was a Champion employee and was top notch. I also got a killer price, too. They have one of the best guarantees in the business and are a nationwide company...
  10. Not sure where you work or what you do, but in my line of work (Fortune 100 company, IT, PM work, etc.), that's not at all true. Hell, if your hair is too long and you look like a hippie, you might not get the job...
  11. Right or wrong, good or bad, agree or don't, tattoos do present an unprofessional image. I don't think I work with anyone that has any visible tattoos. I also know for a fact that people in my line of work, presenting too much of an unprofessional image such as this, won't be considered for the job. That's life, deal with it...
  12. Kenny was the first of my two friends that were killed on motorcycles, in the month of March, near that same area. Very sad, he was one of the best members on CR...
  13. Thanks guys, I'll call you all this week...
  14. I'm finally getting around to getting at least part of my driveway done this Spring. Who on CR does asphalt or concrete (I'm looking at both, to see which I'd rather have) or can recommend someone for me?
  15. An update to this: I ended up getting two Nexus 5's, and going to T-Mobile from Verizon. The phone itself is so much better than the Razr I was using; faster and a huge battery life. I can leave the phone out all night and only use up 2% of the battery. As for T-Mobile, as it's been said, if you're in the Columbus metro area, it's fine. But I don't have to go too much further out from my house in northwest Powell before I have little data signal. I was in Marysville the other day and got nothing at all for data. But I'm not often out of the Columbus metro, or using my phone outside of my home, so it works for me. And my wife is on our wi-fi like 95% of the time, so it works for her as well. I'm also paying like $97 a month for two lines, plus data, including my work discount. FAR cheaper than Verizon...
  16. NOAA has already changed it up, from 8-10, down to 3-7. North of Marysville is supposed to get more snow...
  17. They might be, but at least on the T-Mobile site, the LG G2 is $600 as opposed to the $396 Nexus 5.
  18. I actually need to back track on what I said earlier about paying for the phone with the contract: After looking at the T-Mobile site, looks like you can get the Nexus 5 for 0% interest over that two years, which ends up being $16.50 a month per phone. Not too bad.

  20. That's way more than I want to spend, see points #3 and #4.
  21. You can, but then you're over paying for that phone because you're locked into a 2 year contract and paying off the phone you "got cheap". If I pay up front and bring my phone into T-Mobile, it saves a lot of money over the long run...
  22. I'm going from Verizon to T-Mobile, and buying my own phone before I make the switch. Here are my stipulations on the phone: 1. Must work on T-Mobile 2. Must be Android 3. Must be an "older" phone, nothing cutting edge, as I don't want to spend that much money 4. I'd like to spend less than $300, if possible I'm buying two phones, for me and the wife. We both currently have a Droid Razr. Thoughts on what to buy? I've seen some new, but opened packages, S3's on eBay for around $250...
  23. Some of you are confusing "I'm afraid to go to Easton" with "I don't want to hang out on a Friday night with a bunch of people well below my economic and social class"...
  24. Have you ever been to Easton? Looks nice, but the clientele sucks. The only place I'm ever at around Easton is the hockey rink.
  25. No, you got it all wrong. See the Force balanced out when Princess Leia got it on with Spock, but when Starbuck found out she was also banging Buck Rodgers, Flash Gordon went off the fucking deep end, killed everyone except Will Robinson. He spared him because, you know, he's a kid and all...
