CraigsList. I've been searching all cities within a 3 hour limit for the past month. Detroit, Indy, Cincy, Cleveland, Lexington, Louisville, Pittsburgh, etc. I was dead set on a white one. Got really lucky with this one, given the miles, condition, mods, and price. I had 3 guys on that G8 board PM me to ask if I bought it and if not, to send on the info so they could see it...

I won't mod it anymore than it already is. I've got two other modded Mustangs and this is my daily driver. Well I stole this one. I paid just $24K for it, and it already had $2K+ worth of mods done to it. Everything is on sale in Michigan, with their shitty economy. Between my brother and I, this makes 3 cars and a boat we've bought up there in the last 5 years. Only the GXP's could be had in manual, and they are usually around $35K+. Not worth it to me, especially when this is a daily driver and my other two fun cars are manuals. Just when Pontiac was getting cool again, GM killed them off.

How much are they asking?

I haven't bought a car in over 5.5 years, so I was overdue. Found this up in Michigan, picked it up earlier this week. Had less than 10K miles on it before I drove it home. Mods include CAI, Magnaflow x-pipe / cat back, and a tune. It's a blast to drive, super comfy, and a major upgrade from my daily driver SVT Contour. Which will be up for sale next week if anyone's interested. This would kick ass, if passed. I just bought a car in Michigan last night and of course, it's got no front plate or bracket for it. My Cobra doesn't have one either. Crossing my fingers... :nod:

I've found an 18K mile, 4 door SVT Focus that I'm considering buying to replace my Contour. What do you guys think it's worth? KBB says $10K, but he's come down to $11,600. Good deal or no?

Well my 2001 Grand Am that my step daughter drives back and forth to school finally bit it Sunday. The trans had been slipping and now it won't go into reverse. Fortunately, it's stuck in my driveway, not down at UC. It's got 198K on it, some body rust (it was an upstate New York car for a while), but everything works and it runs fine. Given the mileage and condition, I'm not putting any money into it, but someone else might want to. Do you guys think I'd be better off scrapping it or trying to sell it?

If it wasn't black, I'd be interested in that Focus, but I don't drive black cars...

I was at O'Charley's at Polaris with the wife a few weeks ago and our waitress had horrible BO. I noticed it first, which is odd, because my wife has a better sense of smell than me. I don't think I've ever smelled a woman with BO like that. She looked pretty normal, but didn't smell it...
