  1. I got a great deal on some tickets for the Purdue game, but they are student tickets and the students I got them from said I could use their BuckID's to get into the game. Of course me and my wife look nothing like this couple and I'd really like to avoid paying the upgrade fee, so has anyone done this before? How closely do the gate people look at the ID's?
  2. Are you talking the casino or the Westside of Columbus?!
  3. Well fuck them for that! That totally changed my approach to grocery shopping and gas. Soon after, Kroger started sending me a lot of coupons in the mail, I think because they realized I wasn't shopping there as much. At least that's what I think it was...
  4. Same here. I'm the guy who will usually save up enough to get a free tank, unless I have points that are expiring, so I'm not wasting any "free" gas at all. Fuck that...
  5. Right. That was Kroger's policy. I used to only use them until they changed it, then went over to Giant Eagle...
  6. Right. I believe this is the culprit right here. Not that I blame them, I'd do the same thing and was trying to buy as many gift cards as possible myself...
  7. Yeah, you might be on to something. Or it could be the local businesses that are buying thousands in Home Depot and Lowes cards and driving for free all year...
  8. Yup, same here. Just won't save as much as I used to...
  9. For those who use and abuse the Giant Eagle gift card gas perks (20 cents off a gallon per $50 spent), as of 10/4/2012, they are reducing it to 10 cents off a gallon per $50 spent. This really sucks, I've been making a killing between their gift cards and my Blue Cash Preferred Amex card (6% cash back at the grocery). Granted, I think Giant Eagle still has a better gas reward program than Kroger, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up if you use this program as much as I do. So between today and tomorrow, if you still want that 20 cents off with the gift card purchase, you'd better jump on it. I just bought a pile of gift cards today. FYI, Giant Eagle still offers 20 cents off a gallon per $50 spent on regular groceries.
  10. Really? How many times have you been? I've never had hard bread from them, no lie...
  11. Really? You don't like JJ's? I think they are quite good. #10 for me, no tomato, add onion, cut it half. They use real mayo, too...
  12. What about those of us who have that and kids?
  13. This is exactly why my Labs are in such great shape for 12 years old. They've never been fat and look skinny to most people, because most people are used to seeing fat Labs...
  14. Yes I do, I need to sell it ASAP.
  15. Elliptical for sure. You don't want to run if you're too heavy and have joint problems. You'll hurt yourself and stop doing it. Take it from me, I lost 90+ pounds using mostly the elliptical, some strength training, and a diet change. No running at all. Fuck running, I hate it. Just remember: Being healthy is a lifestyle change, not a diet or something that's going to be temporary. If you're really serious about it, you have to change your whole life and be committed. Good luck...
  16. I do not. I've only applied for one thing credit related in the last maybe 4 years, my Amex Blue Cash Preferred card.
  17. Just an FYI: You know that's like a 5+ hour drive one way, right?
  18. Price reduced to $2700, need to get this out of my driveway...
  19. Wikipedia says two interesting, yet important things: 1. It's actually a wasp, just can't fly. Or at least the females can't. 2. Mostly in the dry tropics and sandy areas. So I'm assuming not in Ohio.
  20. 2002 Chevy Cavalier sedan. It was my mother-in-law's car, she passed away a few months ago. Good condition, needs nothing. Automatic, air, CD player, 4 door, new water pump, brakes, runs perfect, and doesn't need a thing. 131K miles. Would make a great college or high school car. 30 MPG too. $2700 or best offer, no trades. Pics are located here...
  21. Read this. Basically they use a high pressured spray to numb the area, instead of the needle. Then make a small incision with a tool, pull the vas out, clip them, then put them back in. A steri-strip is used to heal it back up and you're done. Less pain, less discomfort, less down time. This is exactly the reason I went to this guy, because this is all he does...
  22. Dammit, came in here to post this...
