  1. My mower is pretty much done. It is down on power, up on drinking oil. - I want a 22" deck (would do 21" or bigger though) - MUST have a bagger. I can't stress this enough. - Don't give two craps about self propelled, or any other BS. Mower w/ bagger, that's it. - Used is prefered, because it is cheaper! Problem is, I've e-mailed Craigs List ads, and no one will return my e-mail (even though I state when I am available, and want to purchase the item). Pretty much Lowes, Home Depot, and Sears are all the same pricing (Sears would be the choice in that situation, as nicer gear for same price). Walmart is actually a rip-off, according to online prices. Where else can I check? I need one this week, and want the best deal possible....and spend the least amount of money I can. I plan on getting this place sold this year, and my next home will require a riding lawnmower, so I don't need the "it will last you 10 years" mower. If you have a good running one to sell, PM me now!
  2. Doesn't McDorman have something similar...not a Speed Racer deal, but looks a lot like that. I can't fully recall, it has been a couple years since I've seen it.
  3. If you are going to try to replicate that car, which was a tube frame sort-of-looks like a C4, but shares almost nothing with it, you should probably build a tube frame car. If not, at LEAST use a C4 as your basis, not a C3. Regardless, it is a niffty, yet way too expensive, project.
  4. I always suggest putting no money into the stock 10-bolt, and saving that cash for a 8.8", 9", 12-bolt, or Dana. I noticed a slight difference going from my stock rear to my Moser w/ 3.73's...noticed it more at the track, but I was bolting on different tires than I ran before too.
  5. Did someone send you an incorrect message indicating I gave two shits about what you think?
  6. I hate it when people call off at work. That said, I called off 2 days a few months ago with the flu. But I don't think I could have actually walked to my truck without falling over, and sure as hell couldn't operate it. I don't have a problem if someone is super sick; shit happens. But if you are calling off because of a headache...get your ass to work.
  7. Sorry I don't enjoy criminals being let run around. There are plenty of able-bodied people doing the jobs they do as well, that ARE legal citizens. You don't have to be a citizen to work here. My fiancée is here on a work Visa (should have her green card any month now...through work). Oh, what's that, I am going to marry someone that's not a citizen? You bet. She didn't smuggle her ass into this country; she is here very legally and has every right to be. And if an illegal did the right thing and came in on a work Visa, I'd feel the same way about them. Ask any cop how much of a problem illegals really are, even in Columbus, where the problem isn't nearly as bad as many parts of the country. Or I can listen to some douche that would rather let them suck the system dry, no matter how badly it hurts the US. And if you think they are bringing in nearly the tax money they are taking out, you are more of an idiot that I initally believed. Ahh, my hatred for non-US cars. Odd...I've been pimping a Japanese car the past few weeks, and have spent most of my time behind the wheel the past few days in a German car. Go figure. And I was enjoying the German car as well...oh, because I'm not a fan of a lot of JAPANESE cars means I don't like foreign cars. Sorry, the best cars overall DO NOT come from Japan. That said, there are Japanese cars I enjoy as well (I'd love to pimp a new IS-F, for instance). You sure do think a lot about my cock.
  8. 996 Turbo costs more money...and a ZR1 + pulley > 996 Turbo + Flash. You never answered the question...what could you buy for similar money that's faster. Any new, lower volume, desireable car is hard to get when first released, regardless of maker. The ZR1 is no different. C6 Z06 was hard to get when first released too.
  9. At least 1000 cars per year. Enough that you'll actually have a reasonable chance of seeing one in person. Hell, I've seen cars that only 20 were made that are considered production cars, but IMO that doesn't really count.
  10. That's a crappy neighborhood anyway, so who cares about the noise...not like it is going to make a difference in property value. And it is right next to I-70, so there is constant noise 24/7 there anyway. Plus the plant-a-tree person that was quoted - there are parks all over around there. I could see if there wasn't anything like a park nearby, but that's not the case at all.
  11. Wow, you let her get away with it. I would have called the cops. If they said they could do nothing because it was private property, I'd simply state that's fine, I'm grabbing my tire iron and bashing the shit out of her car. I mean, it's private property, right? Opps, my tire iron fell into the car about 50 times. Clumsy me.
  12. Does anyone else sell a semi-mass production car that will go 207 MPH bone stock for anywhere near the price of a ZR1? More curious than anything else.
  13. If you want a car that has a high likelyhood of being f'ed up, that you paid too much for, and the dealer is known to cover stuff up to try to make the sale...then yes, I'd suggest you go there.
  14. God you are a fucking douche. I can't stand the welfare state either and feel there needs to be a big change in that too, but WTF does that have to do with illegals (other than them finding ways to suck welfare-type resources). - They are here AGAINST OUR LAWS. Sadly, we aren't enforcing our laws. - I don't give a shit how hard they are working for their family. There is a legal way to be here. If you aren't here legally, get the fuck out. - Sure there are plenty of legals driving without insurance. But pretty much ALL illegals are driving without it. Then when you get hit, they give a generic name, never show to court, and that's the end of it. You are better off smashing their face in when it happens, then contest the assult charge...that way they are stuck coming to court (which of course they won't do). You are probably the same idiot that thinks this country won't run if we deport the illegals.
  15. Couldn't say it any better than that. And the Rotary still sucks too.
  16. How much for the bar/bar stools? Would be interested in the signage too, but not interested in any of the pool stuff (currently; would be a year from now).
  17. SOLD. Autotrader sale; you guys missed out of a damn solid daily driver. Sold for what we wanted too.
  18. Huh?? - Unpainted carbon fiber hood. - Harnesses on a maybe 15-second car, with some roll-bar type-device - Big ol' fart can - Big, aftermarket front, fully red seats. Backs ones...still black. - Yellow fog lights. - Wing that is just a couple inches too high. Not full-on rice, and probably factory, but doesn't help the cause. Rims aren't rice, but don't help matters in the case. I've see far worse daily, but to say this car doesn't have its share of ricey touches, is well, untrue.
  19. You are a douche bag ricer. Period. Starts to launch, veers towards the centerline and let's out. Then basically easily drives it down the rest of the track. It's called an aborted run. That probably was an N/A car they decided to swap an SBC in. Fine by me.
  20. So far, this is the best deal I've found. $25 to upgrade to a dual-core CPU, $5 to get 40GB larger HD, free upgrade to 1GB ram, $15 to upgrade to a DVD burner = $444 The Acer is $20 cheaper than the base Dell and pretty much equivalent, but I'd much rather have a Dell. My work laptop is a Dell, and has never given me any issues (I've had it for 3+ years now). My fiancée's work and home laptops are Dells, and she is also pleased. Newegg had nothing. Tigerdirect's selection had lease returns for more money. Dell outlet were all more expensive. Directron was more expensive. Still looking @ E-bay for some slightly used deals.
  21. I agree that it looks better with a polished/chrome/silver/gunmetal rim. My fiancée agrees too. Might look better with a polished lip. Now if the car was black.......
  22. That Vostro is WAY out of budget. Budget is talking cheap new, or perhaps slightly used. Under $400 is highly prefered.
  23. My brother is going to be starting college at OSU this fall, and needs a laptop. I'm a desktop person, and the only laptops I ever bought were cheap-o used deals that served a single purpose they were purchased for. His goal is to do some business management/administration/something like that classes, so it will basically be used for that, surfing the net, and perhaps very light gaming. Gaming ability would be a bonus, not any sort of requirement. Cost wise, the cheaper the better. The best deal I've found so far has been an Acer Aspire, Celeron 550, 15.4" widescreen, 1GB DDR2, 80GB HD (5400RPM SATA), DVD reader w/ CD burner, and Vista Home. Price: $379 It is weak in a few areas (HD and lack of a DVD burner for starters), but that is pretty cheap for a new laptop. Any better deals out there? If so, I'd appreciate a link.
  24. How about this: Toyota might be vet at selling Hybrids, but they don't sell a Hybrid I would consider driving. I'd rock a Tahoe. Not for that kind of money (used down the road, perhaps). There isn't a Toyota Hybrid I'd own at all.
