  1. Should work with Warner, works with WOW too. Just call in with the modem MAC address. BUT, writing general firmware for modems many times isn't as good as the firmeware for specific models a company carries (goes for any cable provider). IMO it is better to use your service provider's modem.
  2. Dirt park that is nothing like Wayne...better be willing to climb some steep hills.
  3. Gigolo?? Moving to correct forum.
  4. I can probably do Happy Hollow on Sunday.
  5. I've never had an issue with Verizon, have had them for years, and will continue to do so. I swear Sprint (work phone), gets worse every year. I mean, I've only had an i300, 3 i500's, Treo 650p, Treo 700p, PPC 6700 currently...must be all the phones, lol.
  6. Though I agree house 100%, that's not always true on a condo. My g/f bought her condo 5 years ago, and can easily sell it for WAY more than she bought it for (and hasn't sunk a bunch of money into it). BUT...this isn't your cookie cutter, 400 condos in the area place either; rather a nice, 1980 built deal without many other condo complexes in the area. But then don't forget about condo fee's. Hers are so high, she could throw that money into a savings account, pull out for someone to professionally take care of the ouside of her house, have money after a few years to put new siding/roof on without ever digging out even more money, and most likely still have cash left over. And condo fees don't include anything that goes wrong inside the home, nor your outside A/C unit. And don't forget the shared walls, no yard, lack of garage space, etc. A condo is an apartment you own...yuck. My g/f will never buy another one, and she LIKES her place and her neighbors.
  7. This video must be OLD. Ricart was out today with the car in front of his trailer, didn't look like any new paint on the car, for the NSCA event. At King Of Columbus, the Ohio Boys had their LSx Camaro out there, turbo car, running 7's at Trails on a hot night on drag radials and a stock style suspension.
  8. You have the herp. **Note: I have nothing whatsoever to base that on **
  9. Grilled cheese is best with BBQ sauce. Try it...you will like it.
  10. I could do the 30th. Happy Hollow is that place we went before, right?
  11. What about eye dryness, soreness, senstivity to light, etc.? My g/f never wears her glasses, and many time misses things because of it. Would be a good thing for her to do.
  12. I'm down, depending on when. Just got a grab bar and lights for the Raptor.
  13. It was the first production turbo car ever sold.
  14. God forbid I compare a 94 GT to a 94 Formula, stock for stock. Both cars I've owned. The GT was laughable in comparison, inside and out (and the GT was as loaded as they come, unlike my Formula). GT was lowered, Cobra rims, intake, shifter, exhaust, timing bumped. It was fun enough I suppose, but if I hadn't gotten it cheap, I would have felt ripped off buying it over an LT1 car. Sorry to compare cars that are 100% direct competition.
  15. Come to my back yard. I bought my house off of the 1st owner, and this guy has more parts (some car, some not) burried in the back yard than I can count. Every year I find something new...usually at the expense of my lawnmower blade.
  16. I sure recall reading something similar last year on here. I knew there was a Michigan ending early on, but seems to be the truth this year.
  17. As a former 5.slow owner (94 GT)...wow, what a downgrade. And I always thought my 94 was pathetic competition for the LT1 cars it sold against......
  18. I love the "it should be a fairly comfortable daily" to be a street-car opinions. I guess a factory stock Lotus Elise isn't a street car.
  19. I never said he was a spoiled brat, or even picked on the kid...just stated facts: mommy and daddy did buy his car, and most likely co-signed for him. My parents back in the day co-signed for me too. Mustang + snow tires = good to go. I'm pointing out to NOT have a $280/month car payment at that age unless you have to. At that age, I could have afforded the payment, but instead insisted on a much smaller payment so I could afford other things in college without too much un-due stress. Too many young people get in un-necessary debt early in life, and have to struggle for no good reason.
  20. I don't own an LT-1. That's a reference to a motor from the 70's. Glad you are happy to be in rotary denial. So when I look at adds for turbo FC's and FD's, there sure must be a LOT of people joking about the motor being blown, or it being replaced only a few thousand miles before hand. Of all cars made any time recently, name a car that has more non-manufacturer motor swaps done to it. Hell, ask how many current or previous rotary owners HERE have popped their motors.
  21. There is a difference between daily driver and weekend crusier. IMO, a street car should have full/near full interior, all functioning lights, be able to handle stop-and-go traffic and highway travel without overheating, and hold enough fuel to make it a reasonable enough distance somewhere. Heat: who cares if it isn't cold out. A/C: some stock cars don't even come with it, and they are still street cars. Fuel type: a bit iffy, but it you can afford a full tank of race fuel, more power to you. Just because a car isn't very daily driver friendly means NOTHING about it being a street car.
  22. Easily the worst idea in this thread. He is having troubles getting the T/A to run the way it should. Getting a torqueless, "when is my apex seal going to let go," better be super careful on the tuning, mods, and upkeep or she's going to blow motor is nothing short of stupid. Now an LSx in an FD, that's a whole other issue. Then it's a cool car with a cool motor.
  23. I'd assume he is trading in the Mustang mommy and daddy bought him = big down payment. 26k car, I'd assume about 11k in trade = 15k loan + tax = ~16,200 all said done (title, finance charges, etc). You know his parents had to co-sign, and assuming good credit all around, 7% ish loan for 72 months = that car payment. Numbers may shift around a bit on the calcuation based on bumping down the EVO price and what was really given for the trade-in. Can't say it's a smart move for a 18 year old to have that big of a car payment with a perfectly good car already. But, ehhh, whatever, it's your 6 years of payments, not mine.
  24. I have an old 19" (maybe 20", can't recall), 1983 JcPenny TV, you can have for free (come pick it up). Real fake wood sides and all. Last time it was hooked up (6+ years ago), the screen slowly faded in and out from fine to sort of dark. Has spent these past years on a shelf in the garage. I just haven't gotten around to throwing it away.
  25. +1 I have zero interest in EVER going to India. My g/f's job keeps bringing up her going there for a couple weeks. She loves to travel, and even she is avoiding that trip like the plague.
