My original post was about the SLK, not asking for other car ideas. She liked the SLK a lot. She liked the Z4 a lot as well. Probably more so than the SLK; drove an 03 2.5, and she really enjoyed it. HATED the Solstice (no one had an auto-Sky to test, but the same thing). She didn't like the high belt line, some of the severe blind spots, and how she basically had to open the door to adjust the seats or get to the seat belt (and she is a small chick with thin arms and small hands, not some fat broad that can't get their meat-cicles into the spot). She felt uncomfortable driving it, and felt kind of trapped. Which was too bad, because she really liked the look of the Sky, and the price for it being a new car (as she would have just ordered a base model with Auto and LSD). She also hated how it lacked ANY trunk space. She is now thinking maybe she should go a bit bigger, as she thinks she may not drive a roadster as much, being that it isn't all that practical. She drove a 04 325 Ci rag top, which she liked as well. Might look into comparable Benz as well. Her other choice is to find something nicer as a daily to replace her Sentra and only have one car, which she is considering as well. Her biggest problem is not really knowing what she wants. We saw an 05 G35 X for a good price she wants to look at. She loved the look of the C230 Coupe as well, but that wouldn't be a winter car. I think she is just trying to find something that has the "must buy it" factor to it.

PM me. WOW has a couple of new packages that Time Warner can't even touch. My g/f's condo is in a TW only area (they don't know that). I called in for a price match, as her current package is similar to one of the new WOW packages. For TW to come close to the WOW package (with a slower internet speed and less phone features), it was $25/month more. And that was the lowest they could go, even when the lady on the phone had her supervisor go through all the customer retention packages they have. So if you want to save a BUNCH, PM me with what internet/phone/cable services you want (has to be all 3) and I can sign you up for a much better deal than you have now. And none of that TW intro rate crap, this is prices guaranteed until 2010. I wouldn't be scared about buying a used TV. I bought my 57" Sony CRT HD on E-bay a few months ago, picked it up in Cinncy for $550. Have had no problems with it what-so-ever, in mint condition, and looks great. If I hadn't already bought mine, I'd offer $450 for this unit.

I'd go to Visa as well as the owner. It's not like the bartender made this policy, it was the owner. You talking to the owner isn't going to change anything on that side; talking to Visa will. The charge on your card will be taken care of by Visa as well.

Don't get caught Sam, they are illegal now. Illegal or not, I'd use one if I could get my paws on one. But they are still a fortune and a half on e-bay. And be careful; from what I read, when the tube becomes unstable, back off on the throttle, and the tube will correct itself. But doing 50+ MPH + 30' in the air and crashing = injury. Everything I read said keep it at 30MPH and have a good, attentive driver.

Saw the movie last night, and it was amazingly good. It was better than the hype, and I had lot of people hype that movie up. As for the Honda homo who thinks he is some sort of film maker, Bay has made a number of great films. Bad Boys 1 and 2, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor (alright, some people hate the story line, but the film itself is well done), The Rock (my god, one of the classic action movies of all time), and now Transformers! This guy has his shit together and then some.

Tried two hard drives, with jumpers on/off, and following diagram on hard drive. XP and Vista have nothing to do with it; the machine won't even POST, so it's not even getting to the point of booting anything up. I looked at the feedback of the seller, who sold a ton of these machines; looks like I was the only unlucky one. Sorry if you don't know what your machine is worth. Already updated it, no go. Has both AGP and integrated video. No card installed in any slots, tried two hard drives, and bypassed all other drives...no luck. I'm just sending it back; it's a lost cause.
