  1. More proof that being a rich celebrity can gets you the easy way out of anything. It's a f'ed up system, but I don't doubt $$ was exchanged to people in power, whether it be campaign contributions, or full out bribes.
  2. I saw a TON of teenage idiots at Cedar Point wearing those.
  3. If you don't want much HD content, and don't plan on hooking up a PC, the 720P will probably be fine. I assume you plan on wall mounting it. Otherwise, don't waste you money on a flat panel; just get an LCD or DLP projection. They aren't that thick, and will save you a bundle.
  4. Have you even listened to Sirius?? If I'm not listening to Howard, Bubba, or Raw Dog Comedy, I'm listening to a ton of different COMMERCIAL FREE music channels that actually play more than the same 7 songs. And there are a pile of channels offering music you just can't ever hear on testicle radio. I've been stuck a couple times the past few months listening to testicle radio for a day here and there (no CD/MP3 player as an alternative), and it is seriously torture. I can't understand how people can listen to that crap. As for a unit hanging off the side, in my case, yes, because I move my unit to a ton of different places (work vehicle, Avalanche, Formula, boat, house). But you can get a factory head unit w/ Sat. service, and there are tuner boxes for GM's that allow XM units to tune in Sirius. Why spend extra money on high speed internet when dialup can work? Why spend money on cable when you can get the locals over the air for free? Same difference.
  5. If you can afford a Z06, you can afford $12.95.
  6. You listen to regular testicle radio? Why???
  7. I swear, I want to choke the shit out of half the people that post comments on You Tube (and that's on 90% of the videos I watch, not just this one). That's one hell of a cool swap.
  8. It's called the herp. Solitary is such BS. Put her in general population.
  9. - LT1 block; factory block from my 94 Formula. Motor was fine when I took it apart, bored .030 over, .005 above 0 deck, clearanced. Cylinders were bored with a torque plate. - Splayed 4-bolt mains, with Eagle Billet main caps. - Lunati Dragonslayer forged crank - Eagle H-beam forged rods - SRP -16cc forged pistons - Clevite Bearings - Speed Pro rings This shortblock is fully machined, honed, and balanced, but NOT assembled. Does NOT include front cover, timing chain, cam bearings, oil pan, freeze plugs, and oil-pump. What is listed is what you get. This should make for a great nitrous shortblock, or medium boost setup with the right heads. I'm only selling this because I went a totally different route with my car, and bought a longblock setup off a friend. No payment plans, cash up front, I hold nothing for anyone. I'm willing to deliver the stuff within a reasonable distance. I'm willing to trade + your cash for an LT1 ATI Balancer or sheet metal perimiter bolt valve covers. Price: $2800.
  10. DO NOT GO TO THE Scioto River Pool!!!!! We take the boat down there tonight. Small, but with no one out there, enough room for us to play. Had a real boat ramp...crappy, but still real. Then we take off. Middle of the area, we are dragging bottom. We got about 1/2 way out, turned around, and put the boat right back on the trailer. And my boat isn't even all that big or heavy. The ranger guy when we pulled up said "you are going to put that in??!!" That should have been a sign. But he said it gets packed on there on the 4th. Must be packed with dingies w/ a 10hp motor, because ANYTHING else will drag. I'd be afraid of sucking stuff up w/ a jet boat. Looks like we will be watching from Griggs.
  11. 301 West Whittier Street Columbus, OH 43215 They say there is a boat ramp there. If the weather holds out, I'm going to check it out this evening.
  12. State the deposit as non-refundable, and fully payment must be made within a certain amount of time. Someone else's inability to have funds ready for a purchase shouldn't be your problem. If they backed out, you are simply be paid for your wasted time waiting on the person.
  13. I'm not finding any good info online about the river at all. About the best info I can find is on Griggs Reservoir, but that's not close enough to the action, and you can't get past the dam as far as I know (my g/f lives right next to it, so I've walked around there a lot, but haven't taken my boat on it yet). The only things I have discovered are the standard boating rules that apply pretty much through all of Ohio, that you can't tube on the river (suckage), no lake lice allowed (sweet), and there is a 10HP limit on everything but: Griggs downtown Scioto River pool O’Shaughnessy reservoir (which is by the zoo, no good) I think I know where the river pool is, but I'm not sure where a ramp would be for it.
  14. I plan on taking a bunch of pictures. Should be fun (better be, plane tickets there are expensive...well, she did pay for them, but still).
  15. I'm going there at the end of July. My g/f is from there; she moved here in 99, and is on a work Visa (her job is sponsering her Green Card). We are spending 11 days there; I guess there are some events that go on every year in St. Johns around that time of year. I'm also going so I can finally meet her family.
  16. Eck, that's for old people. I've seen boats on the water out there a couple years ago, I'm just curious as to where I need to go in at. I'll probably make a test run this Thursday evening if I can find a spot, and do some slalom skiing while I'm out there.
  17. No; you make a fast car faster.
  18. I usually watch Red, White, and Boom every year. I've done the club/bar thing downtown, walked around down town, watched it from a couple different parks, etc. But I've always wanted to take my boat out on the river and watch. - Where is there a good place to watch on the river? - Where is a good place to put in? - Any rules/regulations/things I should look out for?
  19. I've done a 1.61 with a 6-speed. Spohn TA, mounted to X-member. 100% stock front suspension w/ heavy wheels and sway bar in place. LCA's, adjustable shocks, 12-bolt, ET Streets.

    Fawk!

But that's probably a good thing. Since you were spending time working on it instead of driving it, the rotary didn't have a chance to blow up yet. Now you are back into THAT waiting game.
  21. Why not save up your limited high school income for something better than an old Neon?
  22. Where are the Apple guys giving the usual "Microsoft sucks; Apple has had that for years, and does it better."

#1: $100 for two subs with blow voice coils is not a steal. #2: I have seen DVC subs with a single bad coil work, and sound alright. But it was a factory defect, not from damage. Which would make me hesistant on trusting the "good" coils
