  1. I have an 05-06 Husqvarna 54" deck riding mower, GT2254. Bought it used last year. 6 speed tranny (3 gears + reverse, low and high). The fastest 2 gears are fine, low gear and reverse does nothing. The top gears are forward left and forward right on the gear selection, the dead gears are back left and back right. At first, when engaged, they would work but grind. That was for about 30 seconds, now neither do anything...it's like being in neutral. The gear shift moves correctly to where it should go, but nada. The "clutch" setup works perfectly, fully disengaging the drive to the tranny. When engaged, it spins correctly, and externally it should work. New transaxle unit is $1100. Umm, no thanks. Anyone ever worked with one of these? Common tranny issues? I can buy the parts individually, but I want to mow my yard one last time before tearing it apart (PITA without reverse, but I can do it). I just want to get my research in before tearing it down.
  2. Listed on Craigslist: http://columbus.craigslist.org/app/1741900528.html I listed these last year, then wife decided she might want to keep the fridge. Minds were changed, and I want them gone. I WILL NOT SEPERATE - I want all of them gone at once. I will deliver if you come over and help me load them on my truck, and pay $0.20/mile for gas round trip (via shortest route in Google Maps). I'd of course prefer that you pick them up yourself - they are in my garage and easily accessable.
  3. Really? The 2010 Camaro was released in 2009. But it doesn't start until the 2011 Mustang come out...without knowing anything about what the 2011 Camaro will be doing. Your logic = ?????
  4. Where my wife is from, rowing is HUGE..as in they shut down the city for a couple days a year just for the Regatta. I've never seen a rower even close to her size. But where is this race thing coming in? People are paying her way, the team mates seem to be accepting of her, yet that's still not good enough?
  5. WOW also offers different commercial services vs. residential. Perhaps build plant better. WOW has done a number of plant revisions when demand has called for it. Maybe Time Warner should start by reducing the number of amps per run (which of course requires more nodes). Those deep Time Warner pockets, being able to get customer premise equipment for a huge discount over smaller operations, getting channel licensing rights at a far better rate sure help free up money to do other things...... Why would I want more than 768k up? I don't know, streaming media on my Slingbox, running a server to share files with friends, online backup services, etc. I max out my upload 100x more often than I would max out a 15meg download.
  6. Ordered the Body Glove case. Found it for $10 shipped, so that should work.
  7. Work phone - had a POS Treo Pro, now I am stuck with this Blackberry. I was happy using my personal iPhone for e-mail and data useage (and probably still will), my co-workers complained, and now we swapped phones. I'm not happy because I had to lose my air-card in the process (all Sprint, so the air card worked okay at best anyway, so I guess not too much of a loss). Tour comes with a belt-clip case...I hate those. Recommend me a semi-inexpensive case for this thing. I have the Otterbox on my iPhone and love it. Had one on my Treo Pro, but didn't like the one on that as well (didn't fit as tight, likely because there was less of it to go around on the front of the phone...Blackberry will likely have the same issue).
  8. And Erik is the winner. Just got meet up and get him the bottle (I called and left you a VM Erik).
  9. Sorry, I didn't know Warner was calling it. Let me know what TIME WARNER is rolling out 3.0. Who says WOW has/hasn't (I know the answer, but I'm not sharing). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_Runner_High_Speed_Online Extreme isn't offered here, so your top tier is 15Mbps down / 756k up. WOW doesn't even offer an upload that slow. Not that you'll find the upload info on Time Warner's website (try finding it...I couldn't). Also lists "Powerboost" will work for the first 16 seconds. Now, if you are getting a true 10Mbps speed increase for the full 16 seconds, that would = 20MB. Otherwise, it won't be that much, which is why I'm not seeing that. Of course, Time Warner advertises all of the download speeds (even without Powerboost) as "up to." I have NEVER seen 512k down; not straight to the modem with PC's that have had no issue pulling 2Mbps upload from WOW. 490k up is the max I've ever seen. It sucks, as uploads are what I am looking for rather than more download speed. But since all I really have to chose from is Warner or Verizon DSL (ugh), I'll stick with the Warner. Warner's service likes dropping EVERY time we have a heavy storm for 1-2 hours with no power outages (likely a fiber issue, as neighborhood was built in 2003-2004, all underground, and only thing aerial to this point would be the fiber run). Otherwise, it works fine, but likely because I did my own install, as I already corrected the pile of mistakes they made for the previous home owner.
  10. I have a MacBook sitting right in front of me running Windows 7. I put Snow Leopard on it just so I could run Boot Camp so Windows 7 would run. Even boots default to Windows 7. Microsoft doesn't sell PC's. Windows 7 runs great on a Mac. The Mac is overpriced and nothing about it is worth the money (the laptop charger is pretty cool though). I fixed it for my brother in law and am shipping it out to my sister in law. OS X SUCKS, so Windows 7 made this Mac useable.
  11. With slicks...possible. How is it the GTO I posted did it?
  12. I think the car is awesome. But 100-150k awesome. Not 400k awesome. I don't care if I was Bill Gates rich, I don't think I'd buy one. Feels like a rip off to me, and I'm not into being ripped off. You know how you pay for R&D? Sell more cars.
  13. Yes, you should be getting 8Mbps (or a tad over it). I don't have a good reason for why you would be getting significantly over that, but if ain't broke, don't fix it! Go to speed.col.wideopenwest.com and do the test there to see what you get.
  14. I would have liked a Droid too, but AT&T Droids are shit.
  15. First come, first serve...but you can buy it next week if I still have it.
  16. http://blogs.insideline.com/straightline/2009/03/il-track-tested-2010-camaro-v6-vs-2010-hyundai-genesis-coupe-38.html http://www.dragtimes.com/Chevrolet-Camaro-Timeslip-18579.html Not a lot of videos out there on it, but I've seen a bunch of stock times in the 14's listed.
  17. The Chocolate sold on E-bay and has been paid for, got more for it than I was asking here. VX9400 is pending payment.
  18. Someone needs to booze it up. TTT. The price is right! Cheaper than you can get it @ Duty Free!
  19. Says folks that either - Never owned a boat - Owned a POS boat that never ran right - Owned a boat and are lame and never used it I've owned the same boat for 10 years. Other than blowing the motor (2k to replace it with a brand new crate motor...factory motor had low oil pressure ever since I owned it), I haven't sunk much into mine...probably average a couple hundred bucks a year in maintenance/repairs/upkeep.
  20. V6 runs low 14's @ around 98 MPH. I am betting that Camaro was a V6 car.
  21. Wow, what an informative video. Was that even an SS it was running against? Was that Mustang even stock? You don't even get to see the Camaro launch. I am doubting it. But here are the dyno graphs from LG Motorsports getting 424 RWHP on a LS3 Camaro, bolt on's: http://www.lgmotorsports.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=31&pos=5
  22. GTO running 11's bolt-on's http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=307119 Or a list of a LOT more: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-results/273788-quickest-stock-internals-list-11-82-bump.html And that list is 5 years old! Regular C6 bolt-on running 11.2's http://www.streetfire.net/video/new-best-bolt-on-ls3-14-mile-pass_634919.htm#commentTop
  23. LOL, you think that's the speed you are getting. That's the "Turbo Mode" which basically allows for the first 10 megs of a connection, if the network isn't busy, to double your speed, then drops right back off. So it will make your speed test look fast, but if you try downloading anything of a reasoable size, you won't get nearly that speed. I am stuck with the 7Mbps TW package, get about 490k up, it will show 15Mbps on a speed test, but really only getting the actualy 7Mbps on a download. Just another trick for TW to make their customers think they are getting something more than than they really are. As for WOW, speeds are the same as they have been. Ben, what speed package do you have? WOW offers 4 speed packages - 2Mbps, 8Mbps, and 15 Mbps down with a 1Mbps upload. The 4th is a 15Mbps down and a 2Mbps up. Ben, PM me your house phone # and can look up what speed package you have, or is says on your bill (Xcite, Xpress, Xtreme, or Xtreme Turbo).
