  1. The pics make it look pretty repairable. Why the part out?
  2. I love it. Not sure if I'd TT a Spyder, but screw it, that car is all sorts of win.
  3. I've been saying this for years. You don't get viruses because no one writes any for it, not because it is secure.
  4. Go see a broadway show. Sounds a bit fem, but there really are some good shows there (and some that very much aren't).
  5. I understand why they gather the information that they do...but it's done in such a wasteful manner (in both cost and usefulness). IMO, it should be done more often, and paid for by making the process far more efficent. And do not quit your job. My taxes are high enough.
  6. You live in Upper Arlington = almost all aerial utilities. Why would you dig? Of course you have to pay lease fees monthly to AEP for every attachment you have to their poles, as most of the utility poles in Franklin County are owned by them. I'm sure that will be an even bigger incentive for Google.
  7. Could it be any more useless and wasteful? - You can't fill it out online - They think it is necessary to send a pre-letter out a week before sending the Census, urging us to fill it out. How many MILLIONS did that cost? - The information you put in is shitty at best. Let's see, they want to know the names/birthdate/race of the people living in a house, home phone number, whether the residents own or rent, and that's about it. Wow, what compelling stuff. I expected at a MINIMUM some household income, occupation, level of education, etc. stuff in there, and IMO well beyond that should have been asked. Somehow the likely $1 BILLION+ spent to gather this information is going to good use? If they are going to ask questions and spend this kind of coin, put some real thought into questions and gather some good data, not this lame crap. AND MAKE THE DAMN THING ONLINE!
  8. That idea died back in the 50's. In the late 40's through the 50's, there was a decent amount of development work on Tip-Jet Helicopters. Problems stemmed from the extra drag caused by not only the tip jets, but the stronger rotors required to support them. Noise and costs were also an issue. Howard Hughes had a neat tip-jet helicopter designed for moving heavy object. A British firm name Fairey also had a tip-jet Gyroplane that was to basically be a flying bus. Neat concept, but it never panned out for a reason.
  9. Awesome tire. They are sticky down to the belts. Only drag radial you can put any real mileage on. To get even wear, you need to keep the pressure around the low to mid 20psi range. I ran those in the back and the standard 555's up front - very pleased with them. Are there more sticky DR's out there? Very much so, but you aren't going to able to put 15k miles on those either. It's a great street tire, good in the rain - I highly suggest them.
  10. You aren't getting the issue. The cost of getting a large fiber run across town is nothing compared to the cost of getting it to 10's of thousands of individual homes.
  11. Very unreliable, installers that tend to be clueless, 8+ hour installs seem to almost be the norm, bandwidth issues when people are using multiple services at the same time, etc. A lot of people try them out just to leave soon after.
  12. If you are trying to sell 2 subs and an amp for $1000, you need to have model numbers of everything.
  13. LOL, good luck selling U-verse.
  14. What about it? That's to multiple people. That's a whole different animal all together. How is marrying MULTIPLE people anywhere near the same as TWO HUMAN ADULTS MARRYING EACHOTHER? That seems like a pretty reasonable cut-off point right there. That takes out the religious, racial, and sexual orientation factor out right there...you know, PROTECTED STATUS in the US. By law, you can't refuse to hire someone because they are Black, Gay, or Old. But somehow you can when it comes to marrying them?
  15. Are most of you idiots? READ THE ARTICLE. Google didn't agree to any of this. Delware county just said they want Google to do this. I'm sure 100's of other counties said the same thing. I guarantee the only way Google would spend the money in Delaware county is if Delaware opened its pocket books...a LOT. Otherwise, they are going to pick a densely populated area where running fiber won't cost a large fortune. It's all business...Delaware county would be a bad business plan.
  16. S5 is an awesome car. Very roomy up front as well, which is nice for us tall drivers.
  17. LOL, the county can wish, accept, and pray all they want - doesn't mean it will happen. Their dream of having it border to border is even more of a pipe dream. If Google is going to run fiber, it sure as hell isn't going to be running it in rural parts of Delaware. Way too many feet of fiber per homes past.
  18. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71224 Treat your kid to 5.1 surround with that DVD player - only $100. Mint condition, sub, whole 9 yards - with remote.
  19. All motor @ those traps a TH400 would be a better choice. Since that's a spray car, Glide was a good call.
  20. Actually, they DON'T have rights. I love how the tards think that if we legalize a man marrying a man, then it must be okay for a man to marry an animal, an inanimate object, etc. Give me a fucking break.
  21. I see them out all the time not running on calls - is this really any different?
