  1. Looks fine to me, not much different from previous models.
  2. The 2010 Camaro is too heavy as is...the Challenger is a freaking PIG. Camaro looks better and performs better. IMO the buying public agrees....the Challenger has been around longer, yet I see more new Camaros on the road already.
  3. Of all of these providers mentioned, who has not only the highest scores in the region, but the highest JD Power scores IN THE COUNTRY for customer satisfaction for television, phone, and internet (3 seperate awards). WOW Time Warner - nope. Insight - hell no. U-verse - LOL. Price isn't everything. Competitive price, good service, good customer service...total package.
  4. You get what you pay for. I bought a pair of low-end Sony Marine speakers for the boat. They lasted exactly one day. That's why there are MUCH nicer speakers in it now.
  5. Use this, it will work perfectly. You may need to turn off the proxy server option in IE to be able to surf afterwords, as this virius sometimes enables it. Very easy virus to get, but easy to remove if you have the program. You have to run it in safe mode (won't work in standard boot up, or if you boot from a different OS and try to scan the hard drive of the infected OS).
  6. When starting the car from cold, the PCM shouldn't be referencing the O2's until they warm up (ie - car running in open loop) = if it runs rough when you first start it, it shouldn't be the O2 sensors.
  7. We got a big check last year, and I hope for an even bigger one this year. My portion will hopefully be enough to pay off the Avalanche...if not, I'll pay off my school loan. That is this years money goal - become debt free (other than our house), then I can sell the boat and get a better one.
  8. You have bad credit, so your solution is to buy a brand new economy car?
  9. Interesting, after a few minutes of using google, it doesn't show this to be a common at all (I found one obsecure thread that showed someone trying to use this feature). So though it may be possible in a PC application and an input device that allows this, it is not common for sure. Regardless, Jones was still incorrect, as DVI-D has nothing to do with its ability to carry audio, but that it is an all digital DVI cable (DVI-I could carry digital audio as well). And the poster will still need another source for sound.
  10. OCD is not a logical. Stop it. Sometimes I'll double check to see if I locked the door if I don't recall doing it, but that's about it. If I recall locking it, then guess what...THE DOOR IS LOCKED! No light from the light bulb = the light is off. I don't need to check it. Programmable thermostat = don't need to check it. Set and forget the humidity on the furnace. Make sure the dog has food/water before we leave for work, that's about it. I don't get the purpose in all of this OCD stuff. I chew my nails, but that's a bad habit vs. OCD (same as smoking I suppose, though I never picked up that habit).
  11. Ummm, no. Physically it could, but no one implements that with DVI. DVI-D is a digital-only DVI connection.
  12. My plastic truck is far more functional than your A4. A4 is a nice, safe car for the wife.
  13. Of course they had to slap a big wing on the back of it.
  14. Budgets should be kept in mind. A supercharger will be cheaper.....
  15. HDMI input on the TV could be bad. I've seen that more than once, across multiple brands. Could be a bad cable. IMO you rulled out the device by trying your upconvert DVD player. Or you aren't selecting the correct input. Sounds stupid, but did you check the user manual? I know on my two Sony TV's, there is nothing special needed for HDMI (one had 2 HDMI inputs, the other has a DVI).
  16. I may want to come over and take a look at yours in the next couple of weeks. I'll be in Reynoldsburg a decent amount for the next few weeks prepping the R-burg house for sale Sounds like a plan...I'll have to shop around at Home Depot this weekend and see what they have. I have plenty of space in my breaker setup.
  17. I owned a bike...no interest in having another. I'd rather have a fast car. I know I would have eventually killed myself on a bike.
  18. Exactly. I just want to make sure food doesn't spoil, my sump gets power if needed (though I think I am going to go w/ a backup pump and battery backup for that anyway), and maybe run an electric portable heater if needed in the winter...this isn't for multi-day power outages.
  19. #1: A transfer switch is almost as much as the freaking generator #2: I don't exactly follow every letter of the law #3: I only live with my wife. If the power was out when my wife was home, she isn't going to be rolling a generator that weighs more than she does outside, connecting a line, getting it started, etc. I don't think she has ever pull started an engine in her life. #4: Not only do I know better than to not flip the breakers, I will also post multiple safety checklists (one by the socket, one on the generator, and one by the breaker panel) to 100% ensure I NEVER, EVER FORGET. I'd also keep the other breaker off when not in use, just to be extra safe. So Scott has done what I'm am talking about. I assume backfeeding the breaker worked without any issues?
  20. I have an all-electric home (5 ton heat pump, electric water heat, etc.). My wife really wanted a generator, and we found a good deal on a 3250 watt unit (4000 watt max) unit that is supposed to put out what they say it does according to a lot of positive reviews. Anyway, everything online is transfer switch this, transfer switch that. Ummm, can't I just shut off the main breaker to the house before firing up the generator? Most of my neighbors have propane + full house generators, so it's usually pretty easy to tell when the electric comes back on. I'm not some idiot that would forget about the breaker, and would be the only one using it. I know I'd have to switch off the hot water heater, and I am doubting the furnace/heat pump will be able to run off of this, but I want to at least run the other essentials. So what would be the best suggested way to wire this? I was thinking a line to the breaker box, a receptacle, then a male to male jumper line from that receptacle to the generator. Any suggestions, guidance? If this is a good method, would I be able to safely back-feed a breaker, so that when it's not being used for a generator, I could use that outlet as a 240v outlet?
  21. Or how about my wife's car, where it expired while she was OUT OF THE FUCKING COUNTRY, with the car parked safely in the garage. She wasn't breaking the law, since the car wasn't outside, let alone on the street. But since she was past 7 days when we renewed it online (which she was still gone BTW), $20 late fee. It's a fucking BMV scam to make more money.
