  1. Geez...my Velodyne 10" (pointed forward) is PLENTY of bass for my home theater. It's in a good sized room with 20' ceilings too. What's the point of multiple large subs when you just have to turn them all down anyway to make the setup listenable? Maybe for a very large theater room, or if you are running small subs...but 4 seems like major overkill in that pictured setup.
  2. It's a 98 Neon, not an 04 SRT-4. That's a lot of work to make such a POS.
  3. I'd MUCH rather have the Enzo.
  4. She isn't ugly by any means, but the fake look really sucks.
  5. I'm not hating...I'd love to have it. But I know the reality of this kind of business, and it just isn't going to. WOW would be just fine if it came here. Hell, Uverse came here and we had a record breaking year.
  6. That's it? That's child's play for Turbo Tax.
  7. It's the Onion, you have to be a fucking idiot to think that article is real.
  8. Turbo Tax. It is always an option. We have a lot of special BS on ours, and I'd still just rather do it myself.
  9. Downed power lines...makes sense. Riverside is still closed this morning.
  10. I'm not trying to convice you of anything. You are trying to get people to listen to HD and Welfare radio...serisouly, that shit sucks. I have MP3's as well, my head unit runs my iPod. I don't burn any music to disc.
  11. So what you are saying it Chase doesn't suck...you position at Chase sucks. But even then, so what you had to work today. I only had today off because I traded with someone to have the day off with my wife. Otherwise, work as usual...no biggie.
  12. WOW, you really should have checked out the large number of COMMERICAL FREE MUSIC STATIONS on Sirius. BTW, there is no good talk radio on that welfare garbage you listen to...plenty of good talk radio on Sirius. Great college football coverage too. My wife had to spend a week without Sirius a few weeks ago, and couldn't stop talking about how Welfare radio was NOTHING BUT COMMERCIALS. And the same 8 songs on replay. You were dumb enough to pay $50 for the same shit re-broadcast in digital?
  13. My wife works from Chase, had the day off. With all the snow, looks like she will be working from home tomorrow. She worked from home 2 days last week due to the weather. She makes a great living, plenty of vacation time, every holiday you can think of off (that she can float to different days when desired)...how can that be a bad place to work?
  14. Wife and I celebrated V-day today, since we both had it off. Coming home from our 1.5 hour massage, we decide to detour to the neighborhood directly north of the Zoo, just to take a look at the homes, and I figured the traffic at Powel Rd / Riverside would be a nightmear. I get out of that neighborhood, and Riverside going south from there has a road closed sign. We take Riverside up to Home Rd going home, and there is a road closed sign there as well. Odd, since I used the road late last week going to work. I looked online, couldn't find any info. Was nice being able to drive 40+MPH on Riverside in the snow without dealing with idiots that can't drive in the white stuff. Was there flooding around the bend near the Zoo? That could be the only thing I could think of that would close the road, as the water is near the shore line there.
  15. I bet their stock holders think otherwise. I think fiber to the home would be awesome...but it's not going to happen. Think about it, most of the areas with money in Franklin County (ie the only people willing to pay for it), are in subburbs = even higher cost getting line out to them. Inner city people aren't going to pay for this...they are lucky to base the internet bill for the slowest speeds providers offer.
  16. Why are any of your listening to Welfare Radio? How are you suprised it all sucks? HD Radio is a scam. Same bullshit, but now you get to buy expensive equipment to listen to it.
  17. Reformat. If would take you 1/10th the time to backup all of your files, and reformat fresh than to even get it back to 95% of where it should be.
  18. You are 100% wasting your time even thinking you'll ever get that in Columbus. WWAAAAYYY too much competition in this city - WOW, Time Warner, Insight, AT&T DSL, wireless broadband from all the major providers...it isn't going to happen. Running fiber to the home is VERY expensive, + monthly lease fees on poles - no way they could recoup the costs. The city doesn't own most of the poles in Columbus (AEP does), so they couldn't even offer them a break on the lease fee.
  19. My wife wants us to build one, in a few years. No necessarily a Factory 5. She loves the looks of the car, but doesn't care about performance. I would HAVE to install an LSx though.......
  20. If you are looking, I would be happy to refer you to our realtor. MKV Aaron just used her, and she is awesome. She is top notch, helped us get into one hell of a deal on our current home, and got our Condo sold when other units in our complex didn't sell for the same $$.
  21. DO NOT give this to her on Valentines day... - For legal reasons - Because it sets an unreasonable expectation for this holiday - Because it is so frinking cliche.
  22. Ocean Club is a rip-off IMO. You can stay at Easton and have better seafood at McCormick and Schmicks.
  23. Can you train mine to get a job?
  24. I have the Moser 12-bolt (bought it in 2001 IIRC), and if the Moser 9" was available as a bolt-in at the time I bought mine, I would have went that route. Something to consider.
  25. Yeah, Columbia Gas checks the meter at my Reynoldsburg house every other month, and takes no previous months into consideration. How do I know? This is the first year the house has sat empty, and I keep the heat very low when I'm not working on it = very low gas useage. But every time they estimate it, it is WAY high. They also put me on a budget plan (never asked to), but since I have overpaid enough to have a credit on my account, I will only pay the useage bill for the months with an actual reading. Even though I "owe" $150 for the month on the budget, they can't charge me a late fee since my actual amount owed is a credit. I could call, and give them a meter reading, but calling them is a PITA, and if they aren't putting the effort into checking the meter every month during a high-useage time of year - screw them.
