STOCK Droid 2 Extended batt upgrade DOES fit the Droid 1 and IS functional. The door included with the battery fits without ANY modification, direct fit. Theres probably a few threads floating around already but go buy one while they still have them in stock before this secret is out hah. The biggest difference I notice is while in my work area my service is terrible... about a 20% difference or so in usage during the daytime. Only adds about 2mm at most of thickness on the back side, cant even really tell. The color is still black but with a shade of blue sparkle it appears. You can only really tell in direct light. Even at that, still amazing. Ide say a worthy purchase for anyone looking for a tad longer run between charges

Obetz has a special jacket made for police and sportbike riding. As far as the rest goes.. the only thing I can really say is trying to wear an undershirt, vest, another shirt AND a jacket, along with a belt full of gear.. in any heat.. would probably make you pass out honestly. I see the point of "setting and example" but I guess it only goes so far??

The others are correct yes. Make sure your lights are always functional as well, theres a LOT of officers that will make you leave it on the side of the road if the lights are out. Youde actually be surprised by the amount of rear end trailer collisions there are due to darkness and lack of trailer lights as well. SAFETY

Build a small fan system for it.. couple big fans pulling air out the back.. I tested once and left mine on while watching some movies and it was warm to touch even the outside, when I turned the fans on it was cool to touch like It was never on. You could probably build one out of cardboard even. Ill snap a pic of mine and post it up later
