Although I agree all these guys have big balls to do this type of work but I think the guy running the crane has the biggest. He is the one that is in a machine that is hanging off the side of the building. He has nothing to tie to or nothing to save him if that crane were to fail. Also I always wondered at heights like these, what happens if one of the workers drops a tool or something. I cant imagine all the tools are tied off. Would make it hard to work with.

Everything is relative at that height so really nothing to be scared of. Once you over 5-6 stories, if you fall you are 99% dead. So whats the difference if you are 1000 feet or 100 feet.

I'm gonna jump up to 10# in the next couple of weeks and shoot for 80mph. Keiths ski has been in the upper 70's but the conditions out there this day would only allow him to get around 70mph. It was rougher then it looks.

Water was light chop. Scarab is basically a 350 with a weiand 144 blower making 3#'s of boost. Keith couldnt go 100% and I couldnt trim it out due to the chop but still a good run. Speeds were in 65-67 mph range.

Jon is wrapping up a few things on it and then I gotta toss the rear end in it and its ready. Im not in a rush right now as I am slammed with work but I am shooting to make the race on the 29th at trails.

Went out to Buckeye, made it 5 mins of boating and broke the outdrive. The alpha does not like the motor pushing it. Gonna upgrade to a bravo here soon but should be up and running again this weekend. It just broke the lower gear in the lower part of the drive.

Just go over to IPS. There are tons of cool builds going on there.

Fill in with some clay dirt. Compact. Top with topsoil. Plant grass. Or fill with #2 gravel. Compact as much as possible. Top with some #57 limestone. Cover with concrete patio and just add rebar over area where pond is just in case alittle settling occurs. The patio wont go anywhere since its just foot traffic weight on top.

This car will seriously not be making many if any appearances at Home depot unless I trailer it. I only have a 8 gallon tank on it and I live 45 mins away from there. Its basically gonna be mostly track in the 275 class. Im gonna have my ass handed to me all the time but it will be fun to at least run in a class other then true street.

Not sure yet. Prolly some custom made ones to mate the outers of the fc with 8.8 inners.
