  1. Way too contrived. And. http://nikkigsblog.files.wordpress.com/2010/05/raptor-jesus21.jpg
  2. If it's a generic code scanner it will (usually) only do OBDII based codes. Those are all government mandated standardized codes and standardized communication protocol that only pertain to the FI ECU. You usually have to pay $$$$ to get a code scanner that does other ECU's as everyone's communication protocol is different. If the light is on there should (will) be a code. Anyways, Autozone might have a 'better' scanner. Maybe someone on here will. You'll have to find a Chrysler specific scanner or some companies make 'generic' ones that do other ECU's. Snapon makes one, but to get the scanner and all of the CD's you need is multiple thousands of dollars so it's somewhat rare to find someone who put down the coin for that one. Even having said that I'd be pretty surprised if someone on here didn't have one or know someone who has a tool like that. You might end up needing to go to a Chrysler (or is this a 'Benze'?) dealership, or find a shop where someone has a really nice scanner. It could be 100 different things. Everyone goes to WSS (wheel speed sensors) because on most cars they break the most often being exposed in the wheel wells and being partially mechanical components. If it's hard to get to or find a scanner that will do the Pacific's ABS codes, it might be worth looking to see if there is an obviously damaged WSS (cable). It's a relatively easy thing to do, I went through that exact scenario on my Audi at one point.
  3. I really like this helmet, it's very comfortable. Good price bump!

  5. How about this, brand new. A little more than he wants to spend... but still brand new. Also, you can look around for coupons online. A member here has one of their mountain bikes and it's a good bike... really an amazing bike for the price. http://www.target.com/Forge-1000-Road-Racing-Bike/dp/B000LWFG9C/ref=sc_qi_detaillink http://www.forgebikes.com/ctsroad.asp There are some bike consignment places around too. Can't remember who or where off of the top of my head. Just that I found a few when I was looking a few years ago.
  6. We have WOW. We've been having intermittent problems with our cable internet for a few months. Tech's came out multiple times and can't find anything concrete. They 'fix' a few things, leave and a few days or a week later it dies again. Now within the last 2 weeks I've been noticing a lot of compression artifacts. WOW's about to get kicked to the curb. Even with these problems I feel like WOW is the best of all of the idiots around here. Insight is crap. I'd rather cut my big toe off than use Timer Warner. As soon as someone releases a computer (PCI-E) based tuner that can handle and m-card I'm building a computer so satellite isn't an option. At least then I will have a decent DVR instead of the complete shit than is available from the cable companies now. I've had nothing but problems with WOW so far though. First it took them nine fucking months to bury the line outside, now these problems.
  7. You could just hang your guitars up?
  8. Thank you for stating it nicer than I would have.
  9. Not a big bike person, what is that? M109? That is a sick amount of torque! Think it has 100whp in it?
  10. It's bank 1 sensor 2. Bank 1 or 2 tell you which set of cylinders it's on if it's a v-engine. I'm not sure if there is a set way to that, i.e. front is 1 and rear is 2, left is 1 and right is 2. But this is a 4-cylinder car so no worries there. As far as I know it always goes upstream to down stream, i.e. sensor 1 is before the cat and sensor 2 is after the cat. I'm no guru so someone please confirm this. So, while you should replace it there is no need to rush. Since AFAIK sensor 2 is only there to check the health of the cat and isn't usually used to adjust anything else in the ECU. Since it's after the cat, my understanding is it can't accurately measure AFR's. Measuring AFR's is the job of the O2 sensor that is before the cat (i.e. Bank x sensor 1). I've had them go bad on cars and didn't see any (noticeable) change in MPG (by actually calculating gallons put into the car versus miles driven) after they went bad and after they were fixed. EDIT: Just saw there was a 6-cylinder option. If you have the 6 cylinder hopefully someone can chime in who knows which bank is which sent of cylinders.
  11. Sounds like you need to pay for music. I'm not the type to bang the your stealing or you should pay for music drum. But two things and being safe about not being sued are mutually exclusive at this point in time. Just use that link that Jones posted.
  12. If you have a micro ounce of care in your body for anything having to do with this shoot yourself in the eyes with a double barreled shot gun pulling both triggers simultaneously.
  13. Too bad it's still relatively expensive. Time will take care of that. http://www.autoblog.com/2010/07/15/brammo-announces-empulse-a-100-mph-naked-electric-streetfighte/
  14. Didn't know they made those. Road riding I sometimes take my phone. I just got the tip the other day to carry some cash, I need to start doing that. Not having your phone would be much less of an issue if you have a few bucks on you. But I don't road ride too often, I mostly ride up at Alum though so increased risk of phone breakage and less of an issue if my bike brakes so I don't take my phone. If I'm in a higher risk situation, one where others aren't on the trail (winter or night), I usually take my phone. I guess mostly I'm not a worrier and can figure something out if an issue arises so I don't worry about needing my phone. Good lord.. what did people do before cell phones? I can also fix most issues that come up on my bike, at least enough to limp it home if I need to. My friend called me the other day because he was riding to to work and got a flat. He didn't have what he needed to fix it. Keep in mind his goal is to ride to work every day this month, so he does this quite a bit. Needless to say he got a small lecture the next time we saw each other.
  15. Cool app. I'll stick with my Garmin, I'd rather not have my phone on me during a ride or a run. I also like having my heart rate on it. But this apps free so it wins in that battle! Oh, looks like you can import to that website from a Garmin!
  16. That dog is scary looking... because it has fucking LASERS in it's eyes!
  17. I was talking about bicycles. I obviously didn't see that he called you that because the first post just says ****** due to the filters. I agree that 'all bets are off' at that point. Does that mean you can shoot the guy? Of course not. Guy deserved to get his ass kicked.... but only for what he called you. The situation did start due to you, but I agree you did already admit to that. So if it had come to blows it would be your fault. And I'm still going to say that using your car as a weapon is a pussy thing to do to a guy on a bicycle. Hiding behind a car is a pussy, pseudo-egotistical thing to do. Especially when the other person is on a bike. I don't have to meet you to come to that conclusion. Ride a bicycle on any street with more than a few cars. Wait until 1 of them honks and yells at you or buzzes within a few inches of you. That's exactly the mentality you are putting out there saying that you would use your car as a weapon towards someone on a bike.
  18. Lolz, that gives a new meaning to a tin foil hat.
  19. You not controlling your dog is the only one that has any blame in this situation. You also have no idea what some people who ride often have to deal with. It's because of people like you that this guy is so defensive. People like you for some reason see people on bikes as something less than them. Your bragging on here about your NCAA championship in your sig leads me to think you have some hidden self worth issues that lead you to be to be egotistical and think you are better than others. People like you that would use your car as a weapon to try to run someone on a bike down are why this guy said fuck you. Time to go ride. Oh, no one cares that you won the NCAA championship in anything.
