  2. I'm committed to staying with my partner forever and we aren't married or ever plan to be. She's definitely the one. We just don't believe in marriage. It's just a societal norm, name, badge to put on something that doesn't need it.
  3. Hachi ju hachi? http://www.hulu.com/watch/18882/saturday-night-live-japanese-game-show
  4. I understood what the title said just fine. I'm not sure what the fuck are you trying to imply here though. I was going to say DSW, that place is huge. It's kind of a gamble, but worth a try, they have a huge selection overall.
  5. They are usually the more expensive places to get it. I've bought kits from Anderson's and Walmart before. Seem's like the best places to go, price and availability wise. If you just need the main power wire though, not sure if Walmart would have them, and someone already said Anderson's does.
  6. What made you think I might have been facetious with that part, the quotes? I was being sarcastic there just to be clear. Cobra R's are cool cars so I thought I'd post it since they are so rare you'll rarely see them for sale.
  7. SN95 Cobra 'Type' R for sale. Only $30k. http://twoseatsorless.com/2009/11/lowest-price-weve-seen-2000-ford-mustang-svt-cobra-r/
  8. I bought a helmet after I flew into a tree in Vermont. I took it with my side and bruised the entire side of my body and broke a rib. It could have been a much different story if I had hit somewhere else on my body. I still don't wear it very much like I should. If you've got the money and find a helmet you like, buy it even if it's relatively expensive. You'll be a lot more likely to wear it, and I'm sure you know that the more comfortable a helmet gets, the more expensive it usually is.
  9. Weather in general is supposed to be pretty crazy up there. There is a 'resort' called Mt. Bohemia up there I want to get to some day. http://mtbohemia.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=56
  10. Are you implying Farkas is your fourth wife now? :marc2: I've been to Sushi Ting (Olentangy near Bubbly Tea) and Otani (161 &71). Both were very good. Sushi Ting was very reasonable on price. It's been a while since I went to Otani so I can't exactly remember. I've not had any sushi at Lemongrass (high street, short north), but everything else there kicks ass so I'm sure their sushi is good too. Keep them coming, I love sushi and want to try more places. On a side note, get some bambo matts and a book and make your own. It's super easy and a lot of fun. Only thing we really used the book for was the rice recipe and you can find that online. You can spend $20 on food to make it and have enough to make 5 people not be able to eat all of it.
  11. What series are you racing in, I'm not familiar with the 'compact' series? What type of racing is it?
  12. There is a reason that's new's and that's because it's abnormal. It's very unlikely to be the long term trend. The more expensive version of a car will almost never be higher volume than the less expensive version of a car. And even if they sold 40% v6's and 60% V8's. They are still selling and making 1.66x more vehicles having the v6 than not having the v6. They economies of scale that they get having many common parts on these two cars make the v8 cars cost less. That's always been the reason for the existence of the v8 needing the v6. Regardless of if the V8 or V6 sells more.
  13. I'll be there Saturday from open until 3 or 4ish. Stop one of the Patrolers and ask for me. I think MoJoe will be there too.
  14. Wow, that thing has some legs on the highway. 29mpg and a 19gal equals 551 miles to a tank. 3780lbs is heavy but it probably does just fine with 304hp stock. Not bad considering what a stock Camaro V8 of the last generation was rated at with 2.1 more liters. They are really pushing engine R&D right now and I love it. Making engines more efficient, making them use less fuel and pushing the hp/liter up making a need for a smaller engine to get the same power, also decreasing fuel consumption. I'm really impressed with what they are doing with DI in a lot of these cars. 245/55/18's stock. That's a 28.6 inch tall tire by the sidewall numbers! Percentage wise that's equivalent to a 16 inch rim on a typical ~25.4 inch tall tire. Which is about typical for most passenger cars until recently. The stock overall tire height on my mom's RAV4 is 27.8 inches tall, .8 inches less than the Camaro's tire.
  15. Exactly. After I payed off my car I opened up a savings account specifically for this and started direct depositing $xxx/week. What was my car payment went into that savings account. Coincidentally I had also just moved into a place with my g/f and that saved some money, that went into the savings account. When how much I made changed for some reason I put that extra money in there. A turbo blew on my car (s4) that I had basically just paid off and I sold it (didn't get that much with a wrecked front end, blown turbo and 175k). I did that because I knew that car would cost me more money than something more reasonable. So I bought Ben's wife's sunfire. That also allowed me to spend less on gas and insurance (dropped down to liability). I put that money into my savings account. I wasn't joking when I said I was saving aggressively. 99TA, you could do the same thing too if you really wanted out of debt. It just takes making some hard decisions (like selling cars, not spending money on parts). This will help me with my long term and short term finical goals now that I have more of a focus on those. Thanks man! Just work at it and it will happen quicker than you think.
  16. Paid off my car about this time last year and started aggressively saving to pay off my student loan, my only remaining debt. I just submitted my payment of $10,979.88 to pay off my student loans. As soon as that payment goes through I'll be officially 100% debt free... Now we can start saving up for a down payment for a house to go into debt again. All part of the plan, didn't feel it wise to go 100k+ in debt when I already had debt I could pay off before we buy a house. Feel's good. :bangbang:
  17. MRM shouldbe open on the 11th, only next weekend.
  18. Was going to say that, it searches all of the search sites (priceline, expedia, travelocity, etc) and displays them all on their site.
  19. Not really sure on the 'why' of this. It already has a great engine in it that can make power and is extremely reliable. Yes, you can make some more power and torque with a better curve a little 'easier' in the LS engine, but it's not enough to be worth the headache of the swap. It's a million times easier to go NA-T or GTE swap and make the same power and a little less torque. Sure, 5.0 in a Miata. I get it. Shitty engine originally. This I don't get.
  20. If he will buy all of this for at least what I can buy a wii, an extra controller and wii fit for, then it's a done deal.
  21. Howard is the reason for the seasons... The mad season, the angry season, the fighting season and finally the killing season.
  22. This place isn't for everyone either because they don't like forums in general, or they don't like the decorum on this forum. I know gear heads in the area that fall under both columns, and yes, they do know about this place. And for the love of all that is good, use some fucking punctuation and capitalization.
  23. Monday and Tuesday half priced small pizzas. You can get a pizza with a few toppings and a beer for ~$10! Their pizzas are pretty good. Brew's in Granville. Great beer selection and wood fired pizzas. I need to make my way out there again.
