  1. Why is the dog more important than the cougar? Answer that without some b/s emotional answer and I will admit you are right.
  2. I would only ever personally use a gun on another human in defense (as far as shooting at a living thing, I much prefer to target shoot). I don't see anything wrong with hunting if you know what the fuck you are doing (kill the animal, don't wound it) and you eat it. I just couldn't do it, unless I needed to in order to survive (i.e. the world ends). People who hunt purely for sport, to hang a head on their wall are fucking cowards. I carry a knife on me when I'm in the woods. If I get eaten by a bear, that's nature. EDIT: Where's Eric when you need him to make you look not quite so crazy since he's actually out of his mind and would post something completely ridiculous about this?
  3. I might, I might not. Sitting here right now, I can say I wouldn't want to. But it's hard to say what I would do in the split second situation. I wouldn't call the cops to come shoot it.
  4. It's nature for that cougar to eat that dog. I might shoot the cougar, or defend the dog somehow as an emotional decision. I wouldn't be happy with myself after that. I definitely don't think that's the authorities job to do it. Bears that get's too used to people, maybe. Cougar looking for dinner, no. People need to grow a set, especially if they live in the country. Why is that dog more important than that cougar in the grand scheme of things. Because of someones feelings for the dog? Get over it. If you don't want to deal with the possible danger of wild animals move to new york. Don't live in BEF northern canada where a cougar will try to eat you. Are we, our feelings and our well being is more important than any other animal? Because we are humans that have feelings (no other animals do...) and more importantly we were 'smart' enough to invent guns. I was talking with a guy recently that used to live in a similar area. Bears would come fuck with stuff around his house and he would chase them off by kicking them. Live in the country and deal with country animals.
  5. Good for that dog, but the cougar didn't deserve to be shoot either.
  6. They don't have a 2001 sunfire in their database. I'm pretty sure that means they don't have anything no matter how rare (viewt) or how common (sunfire).
  7. Or we could all join in on punching you in the face instead. I wish I could go back in time and tell your dad how much of a douche bag you are so he'd decide to pull out. We like good food and hanging out together, I'm sorry your not sociable enough to enjoy food out with other people.
  8. +1, do it after Feb 5th, when I get back into town, and I will be there. I missed the last one too. EDIT: Just saw that it's planned for the 5th. That's the day I'm getting back from begin out of town for 3 weeks so I'm going to spend that evening with the woman.

  10. I'm sure it was just a typo with e and w being next to each other. To clarify for the non-audio-geeks, toe is angeling them in a little. Pulling them out from the wall a bit will probably help too. I 150% agree with what Ken said the audio side of things. The good thing is you don't have to spend much more money than an 'expensive' HTIB to get good sound. I suggest this setup since it's on sale right now due to the speakers being on sale. http://store.audioholics.com/product/2667/66226/yamaha-rx-v665---f300t-tower-5-1-system-package I have speakers from this company and they are a great bang for the buck. They do sound good too, anyone is more than welcome to come check them out if they would like. All the little things add up to $$$$ when you are getting even decent stuff. $1-2k for a projector, $1k+ for sound, at least a few hundred for the screen.
  11. Panasonic AE4000 looks good. Friend has the 'old' one (3000?) and it looks really good. http://www.projectorcentral.com/panasonic_ae4000_projector_review.htm But you should take Ken up on his offer and go look at some stuff you can't/don't want to afford.
  12. winnar, chaken dinnar I concur with LCD/Plasma for main TV. Projector for 2nd TV. I'd only do a projector in a light controlled environment (i.e. basement or enclosed room, NOT a living room).
  13. I've not even seen/heard that bit and I can relate already. I fucking hate when you give someone an opportunity in traffic they are clearly looking for and they don't take it. WAKE UP AND DRIVE!
  14. I assumed and still assume you were implying that Kia's and Hyundai's were ugly, but not as ugly as Acura's and Mazda's. A lot of their (Hyundai/Kia) current/new lineup are very nice looking cars. Hyundai Gensis, Genesis Coupe and Kia Forte Koupe just to name a few good looking cars.
  15. Really? I'm liking some of the new Kia's. http://www.motorlogy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010-kia-forte-koup-566x377.jpg
  16. I bet there are a few 110lb white American emo, tight girl jeans wearing, wanna-be-Japanese guys on here who would buy every one they could find. The sad thing about Mazda's styling is IMHO they were putting out some of the best looking cars, on average across their fleet.
  17. Cool video, makes some of the features look so small, like that berm about half way through. That thing is a blast to rail all the way up like that. That's awesome how your dog mostly runs out in front of you like that and knows the trail. Every once in a while I get the bright idea to go phase I for something different or because the group I ride with wants to go there and remember why I hate it after my hands are half numb half way through. Can't believe you haven't heard of Rays before! http://www.raysmtb.com/ I went there for the first time with Cutalss3.1 on here at the beginning of the season. Very cool place and a nice way to cut the winter up. I didn't get up to MRM for the storm as I drove down to Cincy on Friday soon after my real job, had training down at Perfect North (outside of Cincy) all day Saturday and Sunday, then had to work at MRM on Monday evening after real work. I'm on the Ski Patrol there, MoJo on here (RX7 guy) is on the Ski School (boarder), and quite a few others on here go out there and ride. The snow has been awesome all year due to temps and no sun until this last warm up. Your reaction is exactly the same as everyone I've ever talked to who's from out West/East the first time they ride MRM. It comes down to if you'd rather ride or not and miss out on some of your best years of riding. It's what we have and you make due if you want to ride. It will also help you like winters here a lot more.
  18. Amazon had a deal recently and I picked one up, check there. $30
  19. Go up to Alum when it's nicer out? Ever go to Ray's? I and a few others on here ride. I'm planing to try to get a CR ride together once it warms up and Alum's not a swamp. If you are looking for snow and you ski or board come out to Mad River. Not that great of a hill, but great for where we are at. Quite a few here ride/ski there.
  20. HOWARD SHOULD BE BETTER!
  21. My understanding on this part is that it needs to be just big enough for them to sleep in. If it's big enough for them to go piss in the corner and sleep in the other one, they will. But they won't piss where they are sleeping. My parents had a cage with their last 2 dogs that was big enough for them when they were full grown. Then my dad cut out a piece of plywood that size of the cage and zip tied it in for an easily movable barrier to make the cage bigger and bigger until they were full grown and/or trained. It worked great with their current dog, but she's a good dog and was easily trainable. The one before that, not so much. But I think he was just possessed anyways. Some dogs are just too wild to make inside dogs, he was a 'full bred' beagle who probably had too much inbreeding. Cover the cage with a blanket, they like the dark. It will probably muffle the sound a bit too. Edit: I hadn't read your post yet so it looks like you know at least the top part.
